Her hairstyle might have been iconic but if you’re a 90s kid, there is a good chance that Rachel Green has forever left her mark on your sense of style.

And guess what? You're not the only one living under 'The Rachel Influence'. Celebrities like Taylor Swift, Alexa Chung and Selena Gomez regularly channel their inner 90s fashionista in plaided miniskirts, turtlenecks, mom jeans and white tees.

From her iconic denim overalls in season 1 to her chic office suits in Season 10, this girl is the one we want to dress like. Below is a lowdown on some 'Rachel essentials' you need in your wardrobe.

1. Denim Overalls

The distressed trend got some serious attention last year when celebrities like Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus sported the hipster look. Pair your overalls with some layers, full sleeves inner vests and you're ready for the casual day out.

2. Checks And Plaids.

Ms Green had a closet full of plaids, checks and even Chandler would back us here that she looked super chic! We love how Rachel used to pair her checked skirts with plain tees.

3. Crop Tops

If you have a petite figure like her then there is absolutely no reason why you should stay away from crop tops. Pretty much everything Rachel wore was cropped, from denim vests to long-sleeve sweaters. Crop tops with knots look great for casual outfits but nothing beats a sleek black crop top on a date night!

With major gigs at Ralph Lauren and Bloomingdales, Rachel Green's work wear rule was to keep things simple and feminine. A tip right from her closet: You can never have enough crisp white shirts.
