Don't pack away your summer pieces just yet! With just a few simple styling tricks you can take your favourite warm-weather basics into fall.
Transition your summer shorts into winter by wearing them over dark, opaque leggings and ankle boots, and topping with an open-front blazer or leather jacket.
The trick to transitioning a sundress is to wear a loose-knit sweater over it. Tie it at your waist to create an hourglass silhouette. Now you have a sundress in the summer and a cute little skirt in the winter.
A maxi dress can be styled like a sundress, but if you really want to take it up a notch – tie the hem of your maxi skirt into a knot on one side. Pair your new asymmetrical skirt with a sweater and tights.
Rompers are one of the most versatile pieces when taking items from summer to winter. Pair with the flared midi skirt to make your romper a shirt, pair with a sweater to make your romper a pair of shorts or pair with tights and a blazer for an ultra-chic look.
