Winter in Dubai is finally here! Okay, it may not be a typical winter as much as it is a time when people don’t melt walking to their cars – but we’ll take what we can get.
So, even though you may not be reaching out for typical winter wear like parkas and gloves, it is the perfect time to rock fabulous lightweight coats and jackets. We bring you a roundup of the must-have coats for the winter season in Dubai.
Duster coat
If you are a curvy girl, a duster coat is your best friend. It is lightweight, but keeps you warm. It also helps that the coat’s longline flow makes you feel like a model strutting down the runway.

Wrap coat
The wrap coat, also known as the robe coat, is the perfect informal, fuss-free, and cosy piece to add to your winter wardrobe. It is ideal for a chilly night out on the town.

Pea coat:
The navy wool pea coat was first worn by American naval officers in the early 1700s! This menswear staple has recently emerged as a huge winter trend for women and we are not complaining.

Cape coat
The cape coat is a great option if you are bored of traditional coat silhouettes; it is a statement piece that can amp up even the simplest of the looks. Perfect for winter in Dubai!

Faux Fur Coat
For Dubai, we recommend going with faux fur only on the collar. A coat with faux fur all over it is bound to get people staring at you, not in a good way.

Camel Coat
A camel coat will never ever go out of winter style. The colour works with just about any outfit you put on and glamorises you instantly!

Leather Coat
Just like camel is a staple colour for winter clothes, leather is a staple winter coat fabric that never disappoints – it is edgy yet stylish.

Embroidered Coat
Embroidery is usually associated with couture gowns and dresses. However, this trend has made an appearance on winter outerwear in a big way in 2016 and we love it!
