Planning your getaway to the Maldives? Now is the best time to make the most of all the travel offers and options...

After a whirlwind of a decade, recharge time is important. While there are plenty of ways to implement recharge time from your day-to-day into your day-to-day, nothing beats a tropical escape from it all.

What makes for a good one that will inspire moments with your loved ones? A change of scenery from Dubai's concrete jungle, a slower pace, and re-connecting with nature, to start. That's why we, and many other Dubai residents, have our eyes set on the Maldives.

On top of enjoying 30% OFF your stay at the five-star Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives, reaching the country's beautiful beaches, private water villas, and lush palm groves just became more affordable and more accessible.

To ensure smooth travel from the airport to the island, the resort has partnered with Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives. Domestic transfers will be available from December 15, 2019, from Velana International Airport to Maafaru International Airport, followed by a short speedboat ride to Movenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives.

Maldivian has scheduled six daily flights to Manafaru International Airport.

With the introduction of new transfer option Mӧvenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives, guests have now two options to reach the resort - via shared seaplane transfer or by domestic transfer:

Travel by seaplane

Mӧvenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives is a 45-minute seaplane journey from Velana International Airport.

The speedy seaplane service operates during daylight hours, so guests arriving after 3:30 pm will be transported to the resort the next day via seaplane or will have an alternative option to take the domestic transfer option.

Roundtrip transfers are priced at USD 590 (AED 2,167) per person and USD 360 (AED 1,322.24) per child up to 11 years old.

Travel by domestic flight

For an alternative option, guests can take a 40-minute domestic flight from Velana International Airport to the newly opened Manafaru International Airport, followed by a 15-minute speedboat transfer to Mӧvenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives.

The newly developed airport boasts a 2200-meter-long runway and is 40 meters wide with a state-of-the-art terminal with a super VIP lounge.

Domestic transfers also operate during the evening giving the guests reaching later in the afternoon an option to reach the island on the same day.

Roundtrip transfers are priced at USD 395 (AED 1,450.80) per person and USD 300 (AED 1,102) per child up to 11 years old.
