Going away this coming weekend and looking for a place to have our dog looked after for 5 days. Have never used any pet sitting services before as we only recently got our dog. Also do not want to spend an arm and a leg, so any suggestions would be great! Thanks!!!

I made the awful mistake of convincing my husband to paint the cabinet doors on our closets in our bedroom. We are renting a flat, and at the time I did not realize how much we would be charged to replace them when we decided to move out! My question is... does anyone know where we can get new ones? Ie. A shop in Karama or something similar? I am so stressed to get this sorted! Thanks for any help in advance!

Hi there, Can not decide on what hospital/doctor to visit to begin my check ups for pregnancy. I want a natural birth after previously having a csection with my last.... Can anyone suggest a good doctor? Preferably where I can sign up for the whole package! Thanks

Corn meal! Sprinkle in area where you see ants. They eat it, and for some reason can't tolerate it, and die. I just did it at our place, and it really works! Natural, and cheap! Also baby powder works, and washing the area with vinegar. Good luck!

Don't be so mean! Imagine if it was you doing that day in and day out in all weather just to scrap together a living. They offer a valuable service and are doing what they can to earn money to LIVE. Geez some people don't know they're born! Who ever said I was being mean? I just said I am fed up. I have been running errands all day, and have been asked a total of 5 times in one day. Of course it's a great concept, and the men are lovely and nice. It's just that after the 5th time... you get the point. I guess I am just used to washing my car myself back home and not having others do it for me. Maybe I should just delete this thread because people are getting offended, and that's not exactly what I was aiming for.

Posh Paws! You can also have the animals come to your own home! We did that for my daughter's birthday. 500 AED, and all proceeds go back to the sanctuary.

Hi ladies, I am planning to head back to work soon. My LO is 1, and I feel like it's time! I used to work in film back in Canada (production side). And I would love to get back in to it here! I just don't know where to start looking. I know it's all about connections, and well... quite frankly, I have do not have any here! I would also love to buy a real tree this year, but the ones I have seen are pricey. You can pre order at Ace, but will cost somewhere around 400 AED plus the cost for the stand. I did see a few nice ones at that Home Center shop upstairs in Mirdif CC and priced fairly. Let me know if you find a reasonably priced real tree =)
