Hello,January mummies! Nobody seems to have posted any comment for more than a month, wow! Too busy or the little one 's giving you a hard time!! Maybe both ?.At least, that's my case ?.They always say that the first pregnancy is the hardest one! Well, don't think so! This is my third one and by far,it's the hardest one! Don't sleep at night, kicking, heartburn,no comfortable position...plus the hormones factor! I have like two long nappies during the day (can't help it!)...So don't do much during the day, don't eat properly or on time, can't go out for my and the baby shopping! Basically,I'm a pregnant ,tired, grumpy cave woman! I have want to deliver tomorrow but I still have one month to go! True,I'm not appreciating my pregnancy but it doesn't mean that I'm not excited about it,l,can't wait to hold my baby, hug and kiss her.Mums are brave, unconditionally loving and giving persons.God bless us all.

Hi Dahin21, Firstly, congrats on your pregnancy! Sounds like you're feeling a bit uncomfortable just now. I haven't personally experienced what you seem to be experiencing just now with the neck and jaw ache but it could all be related to your ligaments and tendons loosening up and also blood circulation...it's something to do with a hormone we release during pregnancy, it can cause carpel tunnel syndrome in your hands and wrists which is what I seem to be getting at the moment when I'm at work but can also affect everywhere else in the body too, even making our feet go up a size apparently as all the ligaments relax. Try getting one of those bean bags that you can heat in the microwave and place on the back of your neck, it will help relax the muscles and ease the pain. I hope you start to feel better very soon! xxx See Bean sprout,I posted your message without writing my reply ?...that's tells how well I'm functioning these days ! Thank you for the advice, yes,I'm having these muscles and ligaments stretching as well and sometimes it really hurts but this weakness that I'm having is definitely due to the blood pressure and it really scares me because I know a mum who unfortunately lost her baby at 6 months because of that,I know it's a sad story but we pregnant ladies shouldn't take anything for granted! will let you know.Take care.xx

I had the same at my 20 week scan with my 1st. I was in the UK and by the extra 32 week scan they gave me it had moved. Don't worry too much. They didn't ask me to do anything special. Thank you Mich25,the thing which is bothering me is that I'm not supposed to stand and walk a lot but my work requires that so I'm a bit confused! Will see how things go!Did you have a c-section or a normal delivery?

And since i'm in my early 5th month, guess i still have my chances to be first on the list as well!. Don't be nervous ,just think about the wonderful moment once you gonna lay your eyes on your baby within few minutes,it is emotional ,beautiful one and believe me ,you won't forget any detail. xx

OMG I thought you meant after it was born!! It is personal choice to find out the *** of your baby but this is a definite 'con' to doing so! I haven't found out what this next (3rd) baby is and my 2 daughters want a girl but we have talked to them and explained that it doesn't matter if it is a girl or a boy, we just want a healthy baby....and we get what *** we are given!!! If your son is 8, he should understand! My 2 are 6 and 9 years and are fine with it. Congratulations on your baby...it MIGHT be a boy!!!! LOOOOOOOOL Johjoh! i had a big laugh reading your message, thank you. My son is accepting the idea of having a baby sister! And as you said ,at my next appointment, the OB may say : you have twins, both boys! If the OB is not sure ,she\he shouldn't say anything!

Hi dahin21! I had morning sickness on and off till the end of my second trimester and found that I felt better when I went to work compared to days I was off at home. I hope that will be the case for u too :) best of luck and what worked for me was not to have dairy products in the mornings. Just some dry toast or crackers Thank you ppg for the hope you gave me (yes that desperate :) ),but telling me that it can last 'til the second trim Awwwww! still did't try the crackers,i will so i can finally enjoy my pregnancy.xx

Baby bazaar is like a flea market for second hand baby stuff - a friend mentioned it on FB and I googled it (have tried doing a link below but not sure if I did it properly). It's on the last Sat of each month at Times Sq so there's one tomorrow - not been before but might check it out to see whether it's any good. [url=http://www.babybazaar.org/'>link[/url'> Dahin21 - sorry I can't help with the c-sec questions - I'm really hoping I don't need to have one as I want to be in hospital for as little time as possible! Have you been on the City Hosp maternity ward tours? I haven't yet but they should be able to answer all those kinds of questions. Thank you Hannah, haven't been to the City yet that 's why i want to know asap!

I know how you feel, we thought my daughter was going to be a boy early on, and even though I really wanted a girl (I have a son already) when I found out I was actually having a girl, I had to grieve the son I had lost (I'd already chosen a name and bought some clothes etc too). So just let your son be sad about losing his brother, acknowledge how he feels and then help him get excited about his new sister. Gonna take some time for sure but like you said,he's gonna love his new sis...unless the new OB(changed not for this incident) is gonna tell us :it a Boy'!! LOL.

ahh I see TV was already mentioned, I totally agree though, the fascination with good and evil, and "scary". Stick to Angelina Ballerina and Peppa ***! Also check her room is not too hot. I agree with you Kiwispiers, but not only Disney channel is displaying this kind of evil characters .they are everywhere,in every cartoon.what to do?You can't control all channels but you can handle you child ,talk and explain and most importantly, limit their TV time and do other fun activities so they can clear up their heads from these cartoons.

He'll get over it, meanwhile you're having a little girl, how wonderful! It is wonderful indeed, plus i have already a boy and a girl,so i didn't mind at all if it would be a girl or a boy.The thing is we got used to the idea of a boy, started choosing names, looking for cloths...Adding to that, having a laugh with my son and how it would be wonderful to have a little brother,he would help taking care of him ... My son is eight so maybe it is going to take some time for him to get over it.

As for my two children ,they love watching scary cartoons and believe me some can be really frightening! than in the middle of the night...Mummy i had a nightmare...So,at first i forbid them to watch this kind of cartoons but you can not supervise them every minute! So i got them these flower and ladybird shaped lights so they can leave them on all night plus,i stayed watching these cartoons and laughing about the monsters and baddies and reassuring them that they are just drawings and don't exist!

Hi new year's baby mums It is such a great month to have a baby,so exciting to have a wonderful year start! my tum popped out as well, starting to walk like a duck and feeling few baby movements. I'm interested in this 'Bazaar' as well..Where is it located? I'm at CITY too ,haven't been there quit yet but i'm confident about it. Is the husband allowed to attend the c-section? For how long they keep you there after a c-section? thanks.

I know, the most important thing is that the baby is healthy, still it is a bit disappointing especially when you tell your son that he's going to have a little brother,he's very happy, talking about plans he has for his littla brother... And then when he hears that it's not gonna happen ,he falls apart crying, saying that he's gonna be all alone...It broke my heart and was mad at the OB! Any advice?

I do admire a woman who works while they are pregnant. I'm a stay at home mum and i found that difficult at times (Bordem mostly)... However when ever i felt like i was going to be sick i ate ginger nut biscuits....they totally got rid of the feeling and i never threw up once....Not until i opened up a tin of tomatoes :( I feel for you Mrs DB,staying at home is as challenging as going to work,i've been there! But if you have other children ,they certainly gonna keep you busy! Thanks for the ginger biscuits tip, gonna try it,as well as i tried carrots,cheese,cornflakes...:).

I'm almost 16 weeks and still have not "Morning sickness"....don't know why they still call it like this!!! I would say the " whole day sickness"!!...i can't wait when it'll go away so i can feel like a human being again and enjoy my pregnancy. I'm just hopping that getting back to work will help me get through it but at the same time i'm afraid that it's just gonna make things worse! Kelly you just scared me telling that you had this sickness 'till the 20th week,aw!thanks for feeling for ma though :).

Hi Kelly Pregnancies are full of surprises, especially towards the end!! So we really have to be prepared for any option I understand your disappointment ,getting ready psychologically ,reading many books,....for a natural birth, the c-section is a last minute option beneficial for both you and your little angel....i've been there!! C-section is not that bad,if not at all! this my personnel opinion after having two! Prepare as many questions as you can for your next appointment. really you gonna have one, you'll just gonna have to lie back and relax :).Thanks for your feedback.

Just had appt with dr aziz, seems ok. However she said the baby is head down but facing my tummy with head bent back, ideally chin should be tucked in. She said if she stays like this then I will need a section. Really want a natural delivery due to money and I have no-one coming over from uk to help after birth, obviously if its necessary then that's ok just don't want to be pushed into a section as a lot of docs try to do out here. Do u think dr aziz would so this? Only met her once so can't be sure? My other doc didn't mention this at all other scans??? Thanks
