Check LazyBoy at Marlin furniture in Karam (not sure if there is on eon SZR). we got ours >6 yrs ago and still in great shape. Marlin used to stock quite big range. You can also check Pottery Barn for their famous recliner - although more pricy than the lazyBoy.

Hi Francifra! we are finishing grade 1 with DAA and must say had very good experience the past 3 years. we considered SISSD at one point last year, and my main motive was the bilingual structure - in my mind DAA main disadvantage is the late introduction of the second language. After thorough thinking and discussion, decision was to stick to the well established and more experienced institution. good luck!

Sue, housing fee is 1041/month for 4 bedrooms. most of the people were charged the 2k+ this month. you need to pay a visit to Almanara gov office (on SZR), go to counter 44 and you will have it adjusted. it might also help if you join jumeirah Park residents page of FB.you will certainly get quicker response there.

Used it last Sunday for my in laws. wheel chair was also used for on of them. they took them through all the paperwork and all the way to the plane. It's a great service and we always use it for them . I go with the Silver meet and greet which is AED160/person. I booked via phone the day before.

Hi Ginee, our 7 yr old is in American curriculum, and one of the oldest in class - Grd. 1. no multiplications or divisions yet, but lots of math concepts are being introduced for counting purposes, bigger and smaller numbers etc. I'm sure it will get more advanced as we progress in the year. Learning seem to be lots of fun for the kids!. Good luck in your decision! Tacktouk could you email me? ginneeginnee36 at hotm ail do t c om. there is a shop on SZR that sells knobs, locks, handles, and all sort of accessories. If memory is serving well it is close to SEDAR (the curtain store). they have higher quality products - Italian and German made hence certainly more expensing that dragon mart.

Sorry have no experience with FloorWorld, however we've done it twice in two of the houses we lived in. First time was through IdDesin (not sure if they offer this business any more), and second was through Avenues (Umm souquim). both provided all need material including glue, the sheets that go underneath, etc. we had no issue in the first house for five years and now one year in the second. You need to check the quality of the Laminate, its thickness, etc. There is huge range, but there are some good European companies.

hi NM, first good luck with your move. we lived in both and each has teh pros and cons. AR offers you great accessability to other dubai areas, Green community on teh other hand offers great famiky living - spacious houses and lots of greenery - it is certainly a great place for little kids. school and afetr school activities location is key coniedration.

Hi Tiptoptoni, in my view it is buyers market at the moment, stock is relatively high and market is slow. I do not excepect buyers to pay teh full 4% at all. it has been always a split fee between buyer and seller. Buyer shoudl make sure agent is on their side. Agent fees remain the same and are paid by buyer. good luck

Agreed, it had plateaued everywhere. Budget would get you the luxury villas in GC or up to 4 BR villa in JP (not really small with 4300 sq. ft). Each would have its pros and cons and really depends on your priorities. JP pros would be location and accessibility which is excellent, new houses – yet they have their own issues, and JP is free hold development. Cons; not gated community, lack of communal areas (yet slowly changing – kids parks have just started to come up. On green community pros would be, would say the best community and community feel in Dubai, spacious parks (great attention to maintenance is certainly needed), quite safe environment for toddlers and kids. On the cons; traffic and traffic and traffic out and in to DIP, it is quire remote as you rightly said, it is a leasehold, district cooling systems – quite expensive. Good luck!

Newdxb, to my knowledge you can only get them in via agency and that would cost quite a lot. you may negotiae teh rate a bit down, since you know her and no risk of sending her back, earlier this yar i deals with Future labour supply, was good experience.

Thank you all for your replies, and yes agree Juicer is very different than blender. i also now understand that power matters, 700-1000 Watts should do great job. On a juicer hunt now:)

If you are true cappuccino lover, would warn you against Nespresso particularly those with the built in froth options. Quality of froth is so poor and very inconsistent. You would hear all the nonsense reasons from Nespresso from, powder milk vs fresh milk, this brand vs. that, cold milk vs. room temperature. My two cents would be Nespresso machines may be good for espresso, and only for those fancying the taste of their coffee.

The three you referred to are lovely, but in my view Tom Ford is the most gorgeous. I'm more inclined to perfumes that last longer, and hold them selves well, and TF is just one of those.

Apologies to barge in Supernoodle! unfortunately unable to address your queries! but i strongly believe the area will get there soon with the names signs etc. it takes time in Dubai but it gets done at the end:-) I'm quite interested to in JP, houses are just perfect. have been looking for any feedback from residence but as you said nothing here or on FB. my concerns are bit different though; not a gated community, not community parks or common areas where kids can get together, kids going on bikes, etc? I have a 5 year old, and living in great kids oriented community. appreciate views from JP residents pls
