CACHE is a qualification that is recognised internationally. You need to speak to them as they might suggest that you do the level 2 first.

Why don't you update your CV and then pop into some nurseries that are close to where you live and see if they would like a volunteer or have a paid job?

I have taken courses with EYES and they have always been really good - I would say worth paying the extra for. Eyes courses are recognised by both KHDA and Ministry of Social Affairs - and Eyes are one of the Ministry approved trainers. Edited to add - you will get CACHE 3 with Eyes but with city and guilds it is their equivalent. Only a centre that is affiliated to CACHE offers CACHE courses.

Feeder nurseries are good as long as they can guarantee that you will get a seat. As school will often look at sibling priority, and then any debentures, etc. And then feeder nurseries - I would be asking if I am definitely guaranteed a space?

I have LO at Kings and we have been very happy with how quickly she settled and made friends, the staff are brilliant - and their curriculum has worked wonders for my daughter. Whose confidence has grown and now actively seeks to take part in all areas of school life! Having experienced another Dubai school we know this one is much more suitable for our LO

Have a look at NurserySeeker.com it is a free website that allows you to search for a nursery by location, curriculum, etc. so you can make a shortlist of nurseries that best suit what you are looking for. You can then have a read about the nursery and look at photos and videos of the nurseries before you visit!

Hi it is my understanding that the online course is knowledge only however the courses that you attend give you knowledge and skills as they visit you whilst you are working, so not quite the same! Also I do not think I would stick at an online course in the same way as one I have to actually go to - as I will feel obliged to get my work in on time!

Why not do it at home and then you can make the food yourself and ensure it is infant friendly - finger sandwiches, fruit, mini muffins, etc use your little ones toys and make it a homely occassion

It is a difficult one to answer as it would depend on the hours worked, whether the TA has a relevant qualification - CACHE and sadly the candidates nationality.

I can second Careem. My nanny gets picked up first and then a round trip to collect the children. Once you are registered with Careem they email you through promotional codes that you can use - it can be quite a good saving!
