Hi C Dubai If you are looking at other schools my Husband works at Horizon English School at Safa park which has a great reputation. If you would like any info or a private tour I can arrange that for you if that helps? We moved to Dubai last year and love it so any advice you need let me know.

Hi Alisa23 Are you still looking for assessment options at other schools? I can arrange a private tour of Horizon English School for you as my Husband is a teacher there if that helps?

I suggest contacting Sarah Pickford a Dubai based travel consultant from the UK, google her name and I am sure she will help you. Good luck!

Hi Ladies Thanks for all your suggestions. We went to Serafina and it was great with a fab view of the fountains, highly recommend it. There was no signs up to suggest who if anyone will be taking up the old Rivington Grill or Mango Tree yet. Thanks again

Hi @Mary01224 if you were interested in running your own home-based travel business rather than working for someone you should contact Travel Counsellors in Dubai Good luck!

Hi I was wondering if the big stores like Bloomingdales/harvey nichols etc have sales after Xmas and if so when they start? In uk it's a mad dash to the shops for bargains on the 26th!

Such a difficult balance to find. Have you thought about going self employed so you can work full time but during the hours that suit you? I work for travel counsellors and we are recruiting at the moment. If you have a passion for travel you can train to become a self employed travel consultant, working from home. Have a look online at the website. I hope you find something suitable soon. Good luck!

Thanks ladies! I will visit park and shop and the festival city mall as suggested! Hopefully by Xmas I will have a better hang of this gas oven too, I used electric at home and I am burning everything right now? Thanks again and enjoy the festive season when it arrives!

Hi ladies I am looking for some advice regarding cooking a Christmas dinner here in Dubai. Usually I would get my turkey crown and all the trimmings from Marks & Spencer in Scotland, does anyone know if they usually carry these lines here over the festive season? If not can you suggest any alternatives please? Thanks!! :)
