This year’s Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival® will be held from February 24th to 26th at the unrecognisable Dubai Media City Amphitheatre according to Chillout Productions, the organisers of the region’s most awarded and longest running live music event.

During its 13-year-long history, the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival® has been an attraction for many fans from all over UAE and the region with a total of 428,000 music attendees. Last edition’s event was the best ever in terms of attendance as each day was sold out for a total of 35,000 over three days.
Under the slogan “A Unique Take on Music, Art and Lifestyle”, the 14th edition is certain to be yet another one of a kind experience for all.

The Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival® 2016 Main Gigs will run from February 24 - 26 at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. Festival goers will not only be enticed with an eclectic mix of artists’ world-class performances, but also with the cool hangout experience and laid-back charm in an exceptional atmosphere, all arranged to have an exquisite set up for people of all ages.

These rotating collective of performers will bring a genre-busting, time-traveling musical experience, whose sound is best described as pop hits with a vintage twist. With 1.5 million subscribers and counting, PMJ crosses musical boundaries and generations with their distinct take on songs originated by artists as they take pop music back in time.

British rock band James is without doubt one of UK’s most influential bands, creatively restless and loved artists. They will be performing their classic hits such as ‘Sit Down’, ‘She’s A Star’, ‘Laid’ and ‘Destiny Calling’ amongst their twenty top 40 UK singles and hits from the new album, Girl At The End of The World, which is considered to be their best ever.

Legendary Multi Grammy-award winning US Pop-Rock band TOTO famous for hits such as Africa, Rosanna, Hold the Line and I’ll Be Over You, appearance falls a year short of the 40th anniversary of the timeless band which merges a delightful mix of jazz, rock, power-pop and soul. Their latest album TOTO XIV exhibits world-class musicianship, masterful arrangements, topical lyrical commentary and melodies that the collective genius of David Paich, Steve Lukather, Steve Porcaro, Joseph Williams and their assembled band-mates bring to life.

English singer-songwriter David Gray show will dazzle the audience with songs like “Back in the World”, “As the Crow Flies” and “Beautiful Agony” from his 10th and latest album Mutineers, as well as classic songs from throughout his career “Babylon,” “Sail Away,” “My Oh My,” “Please Forgive Me,” “This Year’s Love,” and “Silver Lining” to name a few.
David Gray has always been equally successful in the studio and as a live performer; his energy on stage is enormously infectious that ultimately engages any music lover.

Grammy Award-winning master trumpeter Chris Botti is the best and largest selling jazz instrumental artist in the U.S. today. Together with his virtuoso band, he will bring his superb musicianship for one night of can’t miss musical thrills, featuring the world-renowned British singer and songwriter Sting. For the first time in the region, these two great musicians will share the stage and perform arrangements of favorites like “When I Fall In Love,” “Concierto de Aranjuez”, “The Very Thought of You” and a variety of greatest hits from Sting’s repertoire including “Desert Rose”, “Every breath You Take” and “Shape of My Heart” just to name a few.

Multi-Grammy award winner and global guitar music icon SANTANA returns to Dubai in his worldwide “Luminosity Tour 2016”. His previous show in 2014 was an exceptional timely sell-out; and had witnessed a high level of audience interaction with an unexpected extension of the performance.
