Moving and living abroad is a tough adventure to face, which makes it very important that you establish yourself a new network of acquaintances, friends and potential life-long relationships to help you get settled wherever you are.
Here in Malaysia, you'll find plenty of different meet ups and clubs to join... As there's that many, we're sure you'll be out and about socialising in no time. Check out the long list below! ABWM (Association of British Women in Malaysia)
The ABWM provides an opportunity for women new to the country to make friends and get involved with the local community. Based in Kuala Lumpur.
American Association Malaysia (AAM)
The American Association of Malaysia (AAM) is a non-profit organisation comprised of both Americans & non-Americans living in Malaysia.
We have over 300 member families, with about 40% of our membership consisting of members from other nationalities, including many local residents.
Canadian Association of Malaysia
The Canadian Association of Malaysia is a volunteer-run organisation whose objectives are to assist expatriates in adjusting to life in Malaysia. We provide support, networking and social activities for expats while raising funds for selected charities through our annual events.
French Association of Malaysia
French Association of Malaysia is a nonprofit organisation, apolitical and non-denominational gathering of French families on Malaysian territory.
Ibu Family Resource Group
Ibu is a non-profit organisation in Kuala Lumpur that serves as a resource centre for young families and new mums, to meet & share experiences on child care and parenthood.
International Women's Association Kuala Lumpur
Membership in IWAKL is open to all women from all nationalities. Our membership includes women from Malaysia as well as from all over the globe. Honorary membership is extended to ambassadors' wives and female ambassadors in Kuala Lumpur.
International Women's Association of Penang
The IWA Penang is an international women’s association which was formed in 1982. The membership consists of about 250 women from more than 30 countries around the world.
The Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur

Scandinavian Society Malaysia

Selangor St Andrew's Society
Selangor St. Andrew's Society is one of the oldest Loyal Societies in Malaysia, established in 1877. Membership comprises Scots, descendants of Scots and people who are interested in Scotland and Scottish culture.

The American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce
