I work in Riyadh as a nurse - I am sure you will have to pay at any hospital that u go to. Does your employee not have some sort of medical insurance and if so I am sure that it will stipulate what hopsitals that u must go to for treatment. I am sure he will complain about most of the hospitals in Riyadh as they are certainly not up to the standards that we are used to. In saying that I have had surgery at a Private Hospital there and the service was outstanding. Adama Hospital - not sure if they provide ortho treatment though. So its a bit hit and miss as far as medical treatment goes.

Sorry, I have no knowledge of Riyadh. Hope you get sorted out. Have you tried British Expats Forum for recommendations?

As you haven't got back - I guess you may have sorted out the problem. If you are living in the Jubail area - Al Mouwasat hospital is very good.

Which city do they live in and can you give an indication of their illness?
