Hi
Maybe joining DH in September with DS if he gets a place at school.
DH is in service appt at the moment and we will move into villa when I arrive.
Need advice on where to live that will give me a sense of security.
DS will hopefully be at St Chris and DH is in buisness district.
Have heard that living near school you will hear gun shots at the weekend!!
Any advice or opinion would be great and helpful
Thank you

We have just left Bahrain for Doha but spent three years in three different properties in Adliya . It is the social hub and you can walk to nice parks cafes and bars when its not hot. There was never any trouble , gunshots or roadblocks . it took 15-20minutes to commute to school and although its about 15km to St Christopher's junior or British School it took less time for me than for parents living 2or 3km away on account of the traffic in the burbs. Also helped my husbands commute to financial arbour as he wasn't battling traffic coming into town.
