Listen up, ladies... We've all been there, in that same situation where we've been left stuck, while out and about, without the right tools to keep ourselves maintained and fresh.
We know we don't need to explicitly go into details, because you know, we're all women... We all know that when we venture out for a day trip or an evening out, there's that risk of being left without a spritz, a brush or even sanitary pad! After all, most of our bags can't carry all of the essential items we need, and so we're left having to leave some at home.
This can often be frustrating and uncomfortable if we find ourselves needing such items while out and about... But this is all set to change, with Nisha Nembhard's idea of Freshen Up, which aims to quash the chances of any woman being caught short while out.
What is Freshen Up?
Freshen Up is an idea to revolutionise our trips to the washroom. It's a concept a lot of women may already be familiar and have come across around the world, but it is something that is yet to be seen or introduced in the UAE.
You see, Freshen Up aims to eliminate those nights out, brunches, concerts and other trips out on which your handbag just can't fit all of your essential items in. Freshen Up will come in the form of a vending machine or 'quick box', where ladies can quickly purchase any one of the small products included that they may require at that time.
"Standing in the toilets asking to use someone else's deodorant, asking if they have an extra tampon or needing a chewing gum will now be a thing of the past...", says Nisha.

The vending system would allow women to discreetly select the items they need to help their partying continue, their day last longer and leave their minds at peace.
How will the vending machines/boxes work?
The main items would include deodorants (pictured above), face wipes, tampons/sanitary pads (pictured above), chewing gum and roll up shoes for all of us whose feet are just a tad too sore while out! Of course, depending on the popularity of items, the machine's contents would be adjusted.
The machines would accept notes and disperse change, and for venues unable to accept a wall machine, an alternative freshen up box would be available.
Why should you vote for Nisha?
