A bit about me:
I am a happy go lucky marketing communications professional and photographer. A proud mummy of a 2 year old boy who is half Portuguese, quarter Bulgarian and quarter Russian.
How long have you lived there?
Almost 9 years now.
Why did you move?
My husband’s family got here first so he came on a holiday and stayed. I followed shortly after and our friendship turned into much more.

What’s the accommodation options where you live:
There are plenty of options in Dubai however construction is still ongoing in many areas. We chose The Views & The Greens Community as it is already finished and lovely to walk around.
What are the summer months (Jun-Aug) like in your part of the world?
Very very hot with high level of humidity in the air and really cold indoors
Is summer (Jun-Aug) the best time of year to visit?
Best time to visit is Nov to March when the weather is just like the European summer.
What do you enjoy doing with your time in the summer?
We explore all indoor activities and early mornings by the pool. And luckily we get to go on a holiday to Europe for few weeks too.
What’s the highest temperature it can reach in your summer time.
Hot 48°c it can reach.
What do you love the most about this time of year?
Going on holiday to Europe.
What do you like the least about this time of year?
Humidity
What do you wish you’d known before you moved?
I had the opportunity to visit few times before deciding to move here. That made it much easier.
Anything else you’d like to share with us about your expat experience?
Dubai gives chance to many of us to achieve more in life. I am happy to be one of the people that are pursuing their dreams with lots of work with great satisfaction.
