21 Ways a Holiday Can Go Wrong

We can all agree that no matter how much planning we may put into our trip, sometimes life throws a curveball at us. You picked your destination, you have all passports up to date, you've bought all of your new holiday clothes and shoes... But sometimes, it can still just go wrong. 

Missed flights, lost boarding cards, unorganised timings and forgetfulness all have a habit of sneaking up on us while travelling.

So for the purpose of entertainment, we've gathered 21 ways in which your holiday can go wrong. They're not drastic, don't panic. But they all have a way of leaving you a little exasparated. Enjoy!

1. You're going on holiday today! Yayyy! You're that excited you've probably forgotten to finish packing, but it's okay, you can finish it in 30 minutes...

2. Wait... Where's your suitcase lock? Where's the weighing scales? There's a chance your suitcase weighs more than the allowance... Don't worry, you'll wing it and hope for the best.

3. The family didn't listen to you when you said go to the toilet before leaving the house... Gasp... Where's the service station on the way to the airport!?

4. Passport for you, check. Passport for your husband, check. Passport for your child... Erm... Where is it? Did you leave it at home?

5. Hurray! You've made it to the airport. And check in will take 45 minutes.

6. ...And the queue at customs and security is over 1 hour long. Sigh.

7. You -just- make it to the boarding gate, 5 minutes before it will close.

8. Someone's sat in your allocated seat on the plane.

9. You made it! It's your first day. And at least one person didn't put sunscreen on.

10. Day three. And there's already been a small accident at the pool, park or out and about. Doctor's visit, insurance called.

11. You've ran out of local currency... Where's the exchange place?

12. And your international credit card isn't accepted in the local shop.
