Visit the Dubai Turtle Rehabilition Project at Al Naseem hotel, they give a free talk at 11am on Wednesdays, or you can just go and see them anytime. Check out the Facebook page. The hotel beach is a great place for a Burj al Arab selfie too.

In the UK the name Sara can either be pronounced like Sarah or 'Sar-ra' which can get confusing. I like Melina though

You need to be REPs certified, Level 2 for general Gym Instructor and Level 3 for personal trainer. If you want to teach classes there are other qualifications you need instead. There are plenty of companies in Dubai that offer the courses, PM me if you want to know any of them. I've just started my Level 3

Does the app include everything that the other books do? If I wanted to use it mainly for dinners out and tourist attractions, would the app be enough, or is it worth buying the Fine Dining book in addition to the main Dubai book/app?

I saw an article about green coffee beans in this week's Time Out Dubai, maybe have a look. However, drinking or eating an item that speeds up your metabolism slightly won't help lose body fat significantly, so if it's expensive then save your money. Move more and eat a balanced diet - I know it's age old advice that seems too simple to be true but it is! The newest fad isn't a miracle worker, no one item of food will make a massive difference

Does anyone know if there are any pay-per-go Body Attack or other Les Mills classes around that don't come as part of a gym membership? Marina based preferable http://www.corefit.me/contact/ They are in Dreams tower near Al Maya and close to the Yacht Club I used to go as PAYG but that was in 2010 Perfect, thank you! Think they have their own brand of classes but similar, will check them out :)

I'm also new to Dubai and haven't figured out this one yet! My husband sent some passport photos to a company PO box number and they never arrived, yet two parcels we sent to the company main address got there fine :/ Check if your building has a PO box for your apartment, if not I've heard you probably have to set one up

My personal tip - Dubai zebra crossings aren't like in the UK, my husband got ran over last week after being there for 9 days... was the drivers fault but you definitely need your wits about you when it comes to the roads. Every tower in the Marina is different so I suggest seeing as many as you can to compare. Bring lots of passport photos with you too

We're hoping to move to Park Island in the next month, we looked at a flat in there when we visited last month and loved it. Haven't seen the other two though.
