My father used him for Gastric Bypass and did not have any problems. I used him for my gallbladder removal and ended up having complications but not due to any malpractice. He is an excellent doctor - very caring and professional. Despite my complications, I am going back to him for gastric sleeve surgery. DMMC is an excellent facility. He operated out of New Canadian Hospital for us.

I am seriously considering the vertical sleeve surgery (will spare you from the details of 25 years of consecutive failed attempts to lose weight and my mental exhaustion at breaking point).
As part of my research prior to any final decision, I'd like to have a chance of meeting/corresponding with people who had had it so they could share their experience and give some feedback on the pros and cons.
