I am in a very similar position to you. I'm from the UK, I also have two children who are 3 and 5 and my husband has also been offered a job in Dubai. You have listed all my concerns and questions! We are fortunate that we are going to Dubai as a family for a week at the end of May so myself and my children can see what it's like. The big difference is that my husbands company have offices in Dubai and he already goes there for a week every 6-8 weeks. So he's fairly clued up, I however am cluesless. I keep waivering between being excited at the opportunity and terrified at the big change for us all.
It would be good to talk as we sound in a similar situation.
