I haven't really researched any neighbourhoods it all seems to have come round so quick. We were just looking at apartments on JBR, but now I'm thinking would we be more suited in a neighbourhood a...

I’ve had a look at some neighbourhoods online. Arabian Ranches, Victory Heights and Green Community all look lovely, each have community centres and pools, also most importantly primary schools that look very nice. My only concern was the JESS school on Arabian Ranches has a waiting list which at the moment is 100+ children! My husband’s job will be in the Business Bay area. It’s really difficult to gauge whether these neighbourhoods will be commutable for him. I hear the traffic over there gets bad at peak times. I hope everything goes well if/when your move happens. You certainly shouldn’t struggle to find a school job out there. I think I read somewhere that there are 58 schools in Dubai that are English speaking and teaching the English curriculum. My husband and I should have more of an idea this week as to whether we’re definitely moving over. Tense times! I’ll keep you posted!
