I agree with you, however I renew my housemaid's visa Today and I did both (residence visa and Emirates ID) at the same time in the typing center. According to them is compulsory now to show the Emirates ID application form for the renewal. Also, for housemaids' visa they want a copy of the sticker where shows that you pay the deposit (this apply only for renewals) of the housemaid when they first came. Hope it helps you.

The only restaurants in Dubai were they serve the closest to the real thing are: Maya in Royal Meridian (and close to the Marina), Ma. Bonita and La Loca. The rest are "Tex-Mex".

I had the steroids at 31 weeks and delivered my twins at 34. They did not need the ventilator and were breathing perfectly. 5 years later they are a healthy pair.

Another dissapointed customer here. I went Today and I had scramble eggs with bacon and toast, the scramble eggs were ok but nothing special and rather on the small size also, although there were a lot of staff wandering around, service was poor. It is not like the States at all. For sure I am not coming back in the near future.

Hi, unfortunately you will not be able to find all the ingredients need it for the mole if you want to make it from scratch. The only option is to buy the one for sale in Maria Bonita which is not bad. Add chicken stock to the mole paste and the chicken pieces then serve it with some rice on the side and sesame seeds on the top and "voila". Also, if you have leftovers you can make "enchiladas de mole"....mmm so yummy.

Hi, I had the same dilemma with my mother earlier this month and what I found out was that she was not allow to apply for another visa (whatever transit or tourist) unless she has being out of the UAE for at least one month, however, law here seems to differ from person to person. If i were you I will be prepare for the worst scenario.Hope it helps you.

I would not suggest Zumba to a pregnant woman specially if you do it with JC, contrary to Blimey I found that is quite a cardio work out, I use a heart rate monitor and my highest heart rate is 160 and average is 140-145 and the calories I burn per class are 450, so maybe not that hard for some but quite a work out for others, I think depends of your physical condition. So if you are pregnant I would suggest to do swimming or walking for the time being.

Hi superdreameruk, I can recommend a Colombian instructor called Juan Carlos, he is in TECOM (studio in Icon Tower next to Byblos Hotel). He is giving classes on Mon & Wed 8:30 am and Thurs 10.30 am. I had tried different Zumba instructores and he is, for me, the best. Really good cardio work and his class is energetic and fun. Thanks to his Zumba and, of course watching what I eat, I managed to loose those stubborn 5 kilos.

Hi, I just recently had my daughter assessed by [b'>Suzanne Mclean[/b'>: cero five five five four three eight two four nine. Also, I was recommended : Claire Appleby: cero five cero three four cero eight three five two and Christa Strauss (you can find her details here if you do a search) but she is fully book for next couple of months. BTW, DCHC does not have at the moment somebody that can do assesments (well I was told that when I asked). Other places to try: Kids First in Al Wasl, British Institute for Learning Development or Dr. Jessica at Child Early Intervention Healthcare Centre. Hope this info help you. Good Luck edited by gaby on 09/10/2011

I saw an ad on MCC fitness first where says membership cost as low as 12 AED per day, this means 360 AED per month, obviously there must be some fine printing. You could ask about this when you go.

I grow up in a place where the weather was always hot (35 degrees average) and I have always drink cold water even after doing sports and never had a problem with that. Personally, I think is just the old wife tale, the only times where we were told to drink room temperature water was when we have a cold or bad throat. But this is from somebody living always in a hot weather place, I know is different story in cold countries like Russia and there like.
