Hi twiglet, you can get your sim changed to nano with the same number at any etisalat kiosk, they charge 25 aed and need your emirates ID, provided the number is in your name

been to both places but would definitely recommend Thailand. Phuket in particular is amazing, stay at the laguna area, the beaches there are beautiful clean though crowded. Laguna area has a good stretch of hotels.

@dubaimaman Rashid hospital was free until about two months ago. Now there is a fee though very less compared to private hospitals. I have a friend whose maid had an appendix removed and it cost them, if I remember correctly around 5000 aed. HTH

I did a pattern drafting course recently and our course Instructor told us Satwa would be the best place to buy a sewing machine. My Janome had a slight problem and they sent it to the dealers and got it fixed, so in my opinion Satwa is the best option. Look around compare prices and functions, do take the warranty card etc. The shop name was Nouras (I think)
