Can anyone confirm this, I have had mixed responses about the rule change, some says it still only applies to government others say that it will only be for new visas not renewals. We are currently in the same situation, after a long and nerve wrecking search for schools our daughter is finally stating school in Dubai September so do not hope that this is the case.

I second E-walls, bought some on their website for my daughters room, the lady that makes them are so so friendly and ask you about the size and colour and finishes them in a day. Have a look they are really nice

Yesterday when I went to Carrefour in the MOE I saw some hanging on the pillar where the baby strollers are, I had a look at them but don't know what they cost, they have a big ribbon around. It fits my 2 year olds head. Hope it helps

Hi I am still busy with mine, and I am loving it, I am currently at module 8 and since I've started with it, it has changed my relationships with people as well as my views about some people. I am a stay at home mom and my time is limited so I am doing it through e-learning with the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors www.aipc.net.au they really help you each step of the way and after every module you have an assessment.

I would definately recommend the Spur, foods great, atmosphere is great and they sing the happy Birthday song plus there is a "mini" (very small") play area

We had the same issue with my little girl, they do put it in the temporary passport but they made the validity of the visa only for 1 year because the passport was only valid for 1 year, when she received the permanent one we just went to renew the visa for the same period as ours. We even travelled to South-Africa and back with the temporary passport with the visa no problem. When she received the permanent passport we travelled with both until it was time for the new visa

I also had Dr. Ibrahim he was great, did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. I did not have a c-section but still with the normal delivery he was great, calm and kept me calm. He was going on holiday for 1 week during my pregnancy he gave me his personal contact number and said he will be around Dubai and I can contact him anytime I feel that something is wrong. I went to him from week 27 till birth and really can't complain

Wishing all of you strength while going through this. My dad is still batteling, he has been diagnosed with oral cancer last year, he had an 12 hour operation and could not eat or drink for a while, they had to rebuild his mouth, after the wounds healed the first scan showed cancer again at a different spot in the mouth. He started with chemo and radiation he only has 5 sessions left but is very tough on his body, so hoping and praying he will be cancer free after this. The hardest for me is not being there everyday to support him. All of you going through this with your famiies, I know it is a long and difficult road but the ones with cancer are usually stronger than we think. <em>edited by jessica_dt on 19/03/2011</em>

I think that if you really love your children it will never be a job like she made it out to be, I love my little girl and will walk over mountains for her. Also I think a real mother will fight with everything she has for her children no matter what the circumstances are.
