As long as they are not on the banned list there shouldn't be a problem fot your friends to bring them from the US. I know plenty who have brought melatonin here.

Thank you. I really really would like to go. We have two "extra children" in my home country that we were legal guardians for for a few years and they are originally from Armenia. (Adults by now) I would love to go there and see their country and get to know their culture better.

If you go to ACE in Festival City the rentals are in the back of the shop. I think I only brought my debit card. But to be on the safe side maybe bring your Emirates ID or a copy of your passport...

Hi Kiwisavvy Try the area around Cap D'ail. Very close to Monaco and there is a small lovely hotel there called the Normandy which has a wonderful view. Rent a car or go by train to Hyeres and visit the small islands of Porquerolles.

Hi PMD Where in Armenia did you go? Jerevan? Tell more about your trip please. I would love to go there. Are there airlines that go directly there from Dubai? Three hours flight time sounds great! I have always wanted to go, but from my home country it would take forever with several stops on the way.

Thank you. Im trying to find the information inthe Gulf News or Khaleej Times. I can then send on to alll the people I know who are panicking about this. Do you know where I should look please? I went in to the typing center at Mazaya shopping center on Sunday. had to leave mine and my sons passport there for typing. DH got his back immediately as he was due to fly to Australia on Monday. Today i got the sms from the typing center that I could pickup the papers and remaining passports there. Also got a text message from the Identity Authority to come in to the Al Barsha Service point on Thursday to do the photographs and fingerprinting. DH will not be home yet by then so I called the number given on the SMS to change date and time. Had to have the application-nr (also given in the text message from Emirates Identity Authority) ready to type in and then voila had a new appointment on Sunday.

I've been a smoker for 30 years and have finally decided to give up. I have now been 'smoke free' for 2 weeks. Has anyone else out there given up? When does it get easier? Aaarrgghhhh i wanna a fag! Keep us posted on how you are doing. I have smoked for OVER 30 years. Stopped for one and a half years when I was pregnant and thought i could do party smoking, but sadly that sent me right back into full time smoking again. Please keep up the good work and maybe it can help us other sad smokers to stop as well.

The best pillows available in DXB are from Duxiana in Dubai Mall. Not exactly cheap, but they have the best pillows and matresses.
