Laundry charges more than the carpets original price. We have at least 7 large carpets. Also it's easier to do it ourselves. ☺️

Thank you for the response:O) We found them at dragon mart however we would need to use silicon glue. Since we are renters, i don't want to use silicon. I was hoping for a plastic mirror , light weight and could use double sided stick on. If anyone knows about plastic mirrors please share. :O)

Mrssak thank you for sharing.. We are checking three of those nurseries since they are close to us. ☺️ Will check the rest. I was also hoping to find a nursery which provide Arabic and/or islamic education. Or at least a non denomination curriculum. We looked at kiddy planet and children's garden but unable to find anything else. If anyone has seen this at nursery please share. edited by DubaiNewbie2010 on 22/07/2014

Hi mungamango! Sorry to hear you are lonely.. It does take time to make friends in Dubai. :) I have been here three years and still haven't made solid friends. When you aren't looking they will come. :) I would offer to meet but I have a lo(1yr) and weekends are dedicated to family since hubby travels alot. So only weekdays are best:) Good luck!

Ebg- are you cooking with it? If so I think you will find it at a Nigerian store. It's in the block opposite burjuman center, beside subway restaurant.

Oh for hair thinning.. When your at home don't have anything pulling on your hair( bun style, hijab cap), sleep on silk/satin pillow to reduce breakage and deep condition your hair. I love egg and olive oil masks. Oh and there are some hijab caps that have a satin front. Just some tips .., I'm sure there are tonnes:)

Mabrook to the newbie hijab wearers! :) I just wanted to share this site I love and get tips from on different styles of hijab. Pearldaisy.com. Amazing selection of hijabs and she (amena- owner) makes sure they have coverage and no transparency. She even designed the hijab cap With ear holes to reduce pressure off the ears. And Sleeves so you dont have to layer your outfits re: getting hot. You can order online, the store is uk based. Lots of tutorial and tips. Check it out:)

Please talk or email to your building management and show them pictures of the recent fire in Tecom. We live in the building that had the fire and it was a scary experience. Alhamdulillah no no deaths but two infants suffered from inhalation. They were working on the electricity that morning and so when the fire started only half the building heard the alarm. Maintenance and security were knocking on each door to make sure people got out while the fire was blazing!! It is important to talk your building management and get the alarms fixed to go off when necessary and drill notices. If u don't see a drill notice or then please get out! Few mins of safety is worth it.. . We saw people on their balconies asking what's going on?? While there was a huge fire beside them! Even though u think u are safe it might be otherwise.

Soo I've been using xyz company for cleaning biweekly and I've recently been noticing some area of our home hasnt been you touched! Yoga mat not moved! Bags/baskets not moved.. They vacuum around??And last week the ladies forgot to clean the bathrooms because I didn't have jiff? But had Several other bathroom Cleaners... Sigh.. Does anyone have recommendations for ladies who can do a thorough clean like under the cupboards and moving appliances and cleaning under them. I'm looking for someone who does great detail cleaning! Any suggestions? Also if they do less chemical cleaning and more green cleaning ie vinegar.
