Hi,I toured the Building Blocks Nursery in Motorcity and it looked like a good facility. They have a built in afternoon program for children staying back until 6:00pm and are open year round. We ended up not registering our lo there and decided to look for something nearer to mine and hubby's workplace. edited by magiccarpet on 12/01/2015

Okay - I am going to announce a great karaoke place in Dubai which for some reason has not been 'found' yet. Place is Ciro's Pomodoros at the Le Meridien Mina Siyahi Hotel. Its an italian restaurant. Pizza is Yummmmy! they have projections of whatever sport is going on (usually football) but most important - Sundays and Tuesdays are kareoky nights.

Hey ladies, Tony Edwards in Al Quoz is another suggestion (behind lexus showroom). They are especially good for German cars and more than half the price of dealers. Apparently when BMW's / Mini Coopers gets over hauled with repairs they outsource work to Tony Edwards. hope this helps.

Hi LMAO-DXB, I have used Woof hotel and am satisfied with them. The owner there, cannot recall her name. She is young, energetic and passionate about dogs. Which reinforced my decision of using them again. hope this helps.

hey carymama, building blocks. motorcity. has an enrichment centre on the top floor. they have karate, takwondo, TDK Tigers and stuff like that. Haven't tried it so don't know how good it is. I take my girls for ballet there and share an afternoon with moms who are waiting alongside for karate to get done. I've heard good things.

hi xmasbaby, my children have been going to building blocks since they opened in january. We are happy with the nursery. Checks all the boxes you look for as a parent. both my LO's came home happy. other than the curriculum activities are as SuzyDuzy mentioned. But more than that its the difference you see in the lo's. they have come out leaps and bounds with communication, confidence and putting things back in its place. guiness - the fees start at building blocks is 10,000 per term. i had been to Polo club in January and you cannot compare the two nurseries. Polo club has two rooms where as building blocks is a facility. it boils down to what is a good fit for you. Each nursery is going to have pros and cons. To answer your question as a parent I am a happy mom with building blocks.

Realize this is a bit late. But Building Blocks up at motorcity has a huge dance studio for ballet and other dances. worth a look.
