Hello - was just wondering what your recent experiences have been with this? Have you taken the ready to drink cartons through with you or do you just take powder? We are travelling to Australia for the first time with a two month old and just want to be prepared. Thanks in advance.

I did it at terminal 3 at the airport on a Saturday - no queue and was quick...

Great thank you - that is very useful. I will see what quotes we can get from these companies... How is it being back in Australia? Am excited to go and a little nervous having been here for quite a few years and never having lived there before (my husband is Australian)...

Does anyone happen to know of a good pattern cutter in Dubai? Ideally looking for someone who could help with swimwear? Thanks in advance.

Hi fullofdreams - I am planning to give birth back in the UK next year. I have been told that the criteria for determining whether you are entitled to NHS care is as follows: The patient should ‘provide evidence that they have returned to the UK with the right to reside here and to resume permanent residence’. Or if they have been working abroad to provide evidence ‘that they have been working abroad for less than five years and have lived in the UK legally for 10 continuous years at some point’. The best thing to do is to identify a potential hospital you would like to give birth in there and speak to someone there to confirm their requirements. Good luck!

Hi Cakes - I don't really get aching pains but I do get twinges and light cramps I guess from time to time. Hopefully all ok. Hope the tiredness isn't too bad for you all...

Congratulations!! Feeling exactly the same - this is my first pregnancy and am constantly exhausted. The continual nausea doesn't help either. I literally finish work, go home and eat dinner and am in bed by 8/830 - it is the only way I can deal with it at the moment am hoping it will ease up soon! I seem to get to the weekends and feel even worse I'm not sure why?! Think we can only sleep and keep eating well. I really miss exercising and hear that can help but I just don't have the energy at the moment. Hopefully can get back into it in the second trimester. Hope you feel better soon.

Had an 8 week scan last week - it is very small! Heard and saw the heartbeat - very exciting. Am actually planning on going home to give birth should everything go according to plan (fingers crossed). Have heard very good things about City Hospital here though.

Hello I'm due May too - feel AWFUL. This is my first and I have to say I wasn't expecting this - severe nausea for the last couple of weeks/extreme fatigue and dizziness. Oh dear - I do hope it gets better soon. Very excited though and for you all!

Hi there I've had severe nausea for the last couple of weeks and was just prescribed this yesterday. I had the very same concerns and was quite worried about taking it (especially as this is my first). Anyway, in the end I took it as just felt so dreadful - today has been the first day I've felt ok in weeks so I would say do take it - it seems to help and from my internet/other research seems ok. Didn't feel more tired than normal (although I've been so tired lately it is difficult to tell)!!

Can only advise on lost Australian passport - it is not a fun process. Involves going to the police, obtaining report, going to immigration department, Dubai courts and public prosecution and then back to the police. Then if you work here you need to get your company to cancel your visa and sort out getting a new visa for when you come back in. Not sure if you can get emergency passport if you need one unfortunately all goes via Germany so may take time. Hope you find it as I really feel for you if you need to go through the above!

Terminal 3 Dubai Airport - very easy - immigration desk as you walk into arrivals.
