Just wanted an opinion... I went to a certain nursery recommended below on Thursday for a tour of the facility - was told to be there at 8.30am. The tour guide (who I later found out was also the manager) didnt bother to turn up until 8.45, and didnt even start the tour until 9.15, and acted as though this was the norm. Is this what I should expect from this nursery?!? Or was this just a case of a bad day? Was thinking of enrolling my child there, but now am leaning towards a different nursery.

When we lived at the Lakes in Maeen, the next door neighbour was at it with the maid. All the other maids on the street knew (one of them told me). I saw him once disappearing into the Maid's room and closing the door behind him. Yuk. You also have to worry about the other women. There are a lot of Europeans who go out on the pull, hoping to bag a married man who earns a lot.... Well good luck to them...! He may have had money whilst he was married, but if that happened to me, DH certainly wouldn't by the time I was finished with him!!!

I said MAID not a maid with nanny qualifications and evidenced experience! If you leave your kid with a maid with no proper evidenced experience cause you work long hours then employ a nanny or change jobs. Leaving your kid with a maid who just happens to have her own kids is ridiculous and I wouldn't risk the safety of mine for anything. I'd rather be poor in a dead end job then put them at risk. And the op's friend who left her kids with a woman who was worried her maid would harm the kids if she spoke to her about the op's missing maid - WTF? I wouldn't want to have friends like that I'm afraid. A maid CLEANS. You want someone to look after your kids? Get a NANNY or a maid that is PROPERLY qualified. Honestly It must be nice to have a qualification that is so in demand that you get to pick and choose which job you want depending on what fits your lifestyle... "I'd rather be poor in a dead end job then [SIC'> put them at risk." How about in jail because you hung around waiting for that "lifestyle fitting" job to come along and it just never did, so the rent cheque bounced... Honestly, my ***...

"I have started smiling! I've mastered this smirk; it's a smile that isn't a smile." - Victoria Beckham "I dress sexily - but not in an obvious way. Sexy in a virginal way" - Victoria Beckham "I definitely want Brooklyn to be christened, but I don't know into what religion yet." - David Beckham Interviewer: 'Would it be fair to describe you as a volatile player?' David Beckham: 'Well, I can play in the centre, on the right and occasionally on the left side.' 'Alex Ferguson is the best manager I've ever had at this level. Well, he's the only manager I've actually had at this level. But he's the best manager I've ever had.' - David Beckham 'My parents have been there for me, ever since I was about 7.' - David Beckham

Nope, cant stand them... She is vain and *not very bright* but thinks she is, and he is... well, he's vain and *not very bright* fullstop. I wish I was thick enough to have their empire. I disagree with you Coconutter. I believe they are both smarter than they are given credit for. You do not have that level of professional and financial success without significant smarts. I believe they have a good sense of family which ranks highly in my book and feel they have handled scandals better than many others. I like to read about them but if I didn't I would just skip the page in the magazine. [i'>*And I am yet to get sick of looking at half naked pictures of David*[/i'> I'll give them credit for having the smarts to hire the correct people to make decisions for them.

Its a good thing she could lipsync and he can play football, otherwise there's two perfect candidates for a nice council flat in Peckham.... Which why they are style icons for people who do live in council flats in Peckham......... Snort!
