Dearest Max, Thank you so much for hearing me out. I already went to AHD and saw Dr. Branch. It was hard to get an appointment with Dr. Raj and Dr. BW. All's good and I already requested my Medical Records from City Hospital. But guess what? The hospital just emailed me and confirmed that some insurers who didn't agree to their new terms before already did agree on Thursday. I called my insurance to confirm and they said it's again direct billing with City Hospital. Now I'm confused... But not complaining, at least everything's settled. Thank you so much for assisting. Really really appreciate it! :)

Hi Everyone! I'm a bit frustrated now. I just called my insurance company and due to the changes at City Hospital, it's no longer direct billing with them. It's still covered, however I need to go to the drama of reimbursement. I'm planning to transfer to American Hospital. Can you suggest a good OB at American Hospital?

Hello everyone! I already did my glucose test and result is favorable! I did it last Friday but for some reason a lot of mommas-to-be flocked to City Hospital for GTT. I arrived at around 8:30 but waited almost an hour before starting the process. Torture! But everything went well. Fasting was bearable and the sweet stuff helped too. It's orange-flavoured so it's not that sickening. I had another scan yesterday to check if everything is okay. Baby is fine but he was too shy to show his face, I could only see the nose since he couldn't cover it with his left hand alone. I'm so happy to read all the good news and excitements about this journey. I hope everyone is okay all throughout. Be safe! It's raining nowadays and it's getting colder, load up on multivits or Vit C to avoid Cold & Flu. bunintheoven: Really sucks to have a cold during pregnancy. Sip some hot lemonade or ginger tea. Get well!

Hello mommies and mommies-to-be! Hope everyone's having a good and beautiful pregnancy. I had my 20 week scan a couple of weeks ago and I'm glad everything turned out well. I'm seeing Dr. Azizunissa Shaikh at City Hospital (Now Mediclinic). Next week I'll have my glucose tolerance test. Any tips? They told me I need to fast for 8-10 hours. I hope I can survive not taking anything before the bloodtest and 2 hours after taking the sweet stuff. Can I not really have anything? Even water?

Hello everyone! I'm new here. So nice to read updates and experiences from you ladies. I'm 15 weeks pregnant and I'm due on the first week of April. First baby! My only issue now is my back because of too much sitting in the office and because I travel from Dubai - Abu Dhabi everyday. Doctor advised that I use donut pillow. Any idea where I can buy one? :)

that's a problem. it'll only take less than 5 minutes to drop off a number of passengers at IBN Battuta. i hope they consider that. they sometimes even stop for 10-15 minutes in the middle of nowhere for prayer, and passengers understand that.

I have a ride from Dubai-Abu Dhabi. My problem is going back to Dubai in the afternoon. The RTA Emirates Express bus leaves at 8pm, the one that stops at IBN Battuta. The other Abu Dhabi-Dubai bus leaves on a certain time but they don't stop at battuta, they go all the way to trade centre then ghubaiba bus station. it would be so inconvenient to go all the way to trade centre and take a metro back to ibn battuta. :(

Thanks. I called them, they said the earliest time they leave Abu Dhabi is 8pm. I'm looking for carlift or any bus that leaves early, like 4:30-5:00 pm. edited by uzzizach on 03/07/2011

What's the best way to go from Abu Dhabi to Dubai (IBN Battuta)? The RTA bus that drops passengers at IBN Battuta leaves at 8pm in Abu Dhabi, that's too late. I work in Abu Dhabi and lives in Dubai. I used to take the Al Ghazal bus but they already cancelled operation and I don't like to take that taxi in the bus station, I heard they drive so fast and not so safe. Help, anyone?
