Dear All, I have seen threads that some of you are looking for a French Tutor. I recommend my son's tutor. He works in a French School as a high school teacher. He can give french lessons to kids from all levels. Feel free to contact him at [email protected] Best, K

Hi There, We are moving soon from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and will be living in Raha Gardens. I’m worried about the move as I don’t have any contacts or information of the area. • Are they any good hospitals in AD? For urgent matters, which hospital is close to Raha Gardens? • Are they any close grocery stores? I have heard of Raha Plaza? Is it a small mall ( I couldn’t find online any info about the mall) • Does anyone know a ‘handy’ man if I want to put a frame or shelves etc...? • I also have a boy who is three and half and I was wondering if there were any activities that I can enroll him in? I look forward to your replies. Many thanks in advance! Mrs. K edited by Mrs K on 23/11/2011 government clinic across the road from raha gardens, mafraq hospital (government) 10 minutes away, Al Noor (private) 10 minutes away, Rahba Hospital (government) 10 minutes away. Raha has shops depending on which section you are in, if not there are the pink shops with local shops or a new car4 in baniyas 10 minutes away, lots of shops but you need a car. raha plaza has about 10 shops in not very big. Hi - Thanks a lot busybee2! Very useful.I will be living in Yasmina Coumpound Gate 2 - Not sure how far it is from the local shops you are referring...I was so pleased to know that Car4 has open in Baniyas :)

Hi Lady B - I will take my son very soon there. Its so quiet in Tower C, he gets bored easily as we have moved from a Villa to an Appartment!! It's still really nice down there in the afternoon, like 4pm, it might still be ok. You'd have to check in another few weeks. It really catches the breeze, we love it!!!

Miss Balamory - Thank you for the idea. The only problem is I'm planning to have my son's birthday at the end of May so it might be pretty warm by then. If TowerC has not been lived in before, sure there will be problems in each apartment, we've all been through it and they do come out very quickly and sort things out. Sometimes it takes time to figure out where the problem is coming from, but they do sort them and keep coming back til they are fixed. Just keep calling Salwan and they will come out. Don't be nervous :) All the usual Maid companies come to ET cos it's right on SZ road so no hassle for any of them to come. You can literally pick any company (2/3/4 hours). Molly Maid, Helpers, Home Help, Helping Hands. Readymaid, Maid.ae, etc MrsK not sure on a room but the grassy area at the bottom is still pretty cool in the late afternoon (it's so breezy down there) you could do it there
