Hey, thank yo soo much for your reply. I called Howdra but they'll only have available manpower by mid Sept and it looks like Explorer has shut down. However, I have decided to put my LO in a nursery until we find someone we can completely trust with caring for her. Thanks again :)

TwoKids do you happen to know the name of a specific agency that will charge 2500/month for more than 4months placement of nanny? Because all the ones I've contacted charged not less than 3500/month. Hey SuzyDuzy, we live in a 2bed apt with separate maids quarter in JLT...please do tell me you know someone :D

My best friend is getting married next month, and I have been looking all over Dubai for some good, *kinky* bachelorette supplies, the kind you can find in Canada or the States. But it seems like all you can get here is the PG13 ones. Anyone knows where I can get my hands on some interesting bachelorette supplies?

Thank you TwoKids for the reply...well we've thought about nursery, but theyre way above our budget, escpecially that I will be finishing work at 6pm :'(.. If I do accept the offer, I'll be working from DIFC and there is this nursery there that I can use for a couple of months until we are able to find a good nanny, but I would really rather find someone because the nursery is 5,500 AED a month. Desperation is getting the best of me....

I was walking around MOE the otehr day and right at the middle of the mall, ground floor. they had a huge area for donations of all sorts of things (they even had eyeglasses and sunglasses!)..I am not sure where the donations final destanition was, but its something you could definitely check out.

Girls I desperately need your help. I have a 11months old baby that I love spending time with, but i just got a good job offer that requires me to star work on 4th Sept. So I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a reliable nanny/housemaid that they can recommend? It is going to be hard enough to not spend the full day with my daughter, so Id love to get a refrence so that I can at least have some peace of mind going to work every morning. Thank you :)
