Hi - we are looking for a native English speaking qualified nanny to work just for the afternoons (from 2-7pm) Sunday to Thursday to help with our 2 year old and 4 year old. I have looked at numberous websites and it seems that we cannot sponsor a 'nanny' from a Western country under Dubai laws. We could get a nanny through a Western nanny agency but this is eye wateringly expensive! Does anyone know of any agency in Dubai that may provide native English speaking help (preferrably one that we do not need to sponsor and who would be live out)? If anyone knows of anything I would be beyond grateful!
Many thanks
Emma
Thank you all very much for replying, it is very comforting to know that others have been through (and survived emotionally!) the same thing. I am still so torn about having the amnio or not as my understanding is that it is about equal risk ie. having a miscarriage from the amnio or down syndrome and I can't get my head around what to do at the moment. What I would most like is to have had the amnio a week ago and for it all to be ok (or to be holding a healthy baby in my arms 4 months from now!). I know if I decide to wait and see it will be the longest 4 months ever but it helps enormously to know that all has worked out for all you with the same experience. Many thanks all for giving me some comfortxx
