My son is there now is quite happy however its a very large nursery and even though they say its only 12 kids per class the case is not so. They have also raised the fee with almost 50 % in the last 4 months!!!! With only a vague explination that the Ministry of Social Affairs demands it as they have changed the opening hours. Yellow brick has gone from an affordable working class parent daycare to one of the most expensive in the area. Im very disappointed with this. I feel the principal is perhaps a little too enrolled with her charitywork and tai chi rather then the upkeep of the nursery. I was warned before putting my son there but we live so close I chose to ignore it and he has settled in well but with these new prices I just dont know anymore. Another concern I have heard from parents who have had their children there is that you must activly encourage proper english at home if this isnt your first language as there are no staff with english as their first language. A friend of mine was asked where his son attended nursery as he had a "yellow brick road"-accent. True story. But I guess as long as you are aware of this it should be fine. Again, my son is happy there but I dont think it holds to the standard of a 35 000 dhs a year nursery.

Thanks mrsjbr and I agree with you bluecamel, very strange that she just left, hope she is OK and that she will return to Health Bay. Although they were extremely backed up that day they managed to squeeze me in with Dr Christian Josza (?) from Germany, very nice guy I have to say. Meanwhile I have found another swedish doctor at the City Hospital so I might just book an appointment with her just in case Dr Koster does not return. Take care out there :)
