Apple TV! I got my DH this simple thing from apple and he loved it! If your husband likes watching tv and purchases stuff on itunes then he'll like this. It's basically a small box that you hook up to you regular tv and then connect to your wifi, log in with iTunes password and voila, you can watch all your movies, tv shows, songs etc on your tv (that you've bought on itunes). You can also mirror what's on your iPhone, iPad onto tv screen so like photos, videos, games etc.

Hi I live in Saheel too and have switched 3 gardeners in less than 2 years and now this fourth guy seems to know his stuff. But to be honest he's only been working for us for a month now so who knows. If you want to try, his name is Azzam 055 5296135.

There are a few big warehouse type stores on Umm Suqeim road (the road which goes from mall of the emirates to arabian ranches). I think one is called Parasol garden furniture, another one is Ambar.

Baros Maldives... It was surreal how beautiful that resort was, and the service was excellent. It only has 2 or 3 restaurants but the food was great. Not good for children but more for a romantic getaway for couples.

Did the doctor do a urine test? It could be a urinary tract infection which can be extremely painful during a pregnancy. Hi, Its my first time to post here. I am 6 mos pregnant with my 2nd baby. Last 2 days i felt a terrible pain in my inner thigh, pubic bone, back (cant explain where is it exactly) it feel so terrible that i cannot get up, turn over in bed, and walk. It feels like something is swollen inside or what. It was started when I went to dubail mall and spent 1 hour walking (although i already felt slight pain for the past days before going to dubai mall) I took rest for the whole night and it helps to relieve a little pain. I googled the symptoms and I found sciatica and Symphysis Pubis Dysunction = which i guess close to what I feel. I went to see a dr. in emergency room medcare al safa park because my ob gyne Dr. Luthra was fully booked and ahe cannot acommodate me. The doctor told me that my ligaments are soft due to hormones that made me feel in pain (well i wasnt like this on my first pregnancy). She prescribed me panadol and antiobiotics and advised to come back if it didnt work out. I would like to ask the moms here if anyone have any idea how to cope on this? Id really appreciate your replies.

But not all restaurants allow children under a certain age. For example Hakkasan at Emirates towers doesn't allow babies, Gaucho and Zuma at DiFC don't either. So has anyone been to any restaurants like these where babies are allowed??

Hello Our Emrill maintenance package ends in two weeks and I wasnt satisfied with their response time over the last few months. They would usually send a team within 2 hours but if it required any parts or materials they took many days to come back with it. So should I switch to H&G or Al Hilal?

Her current employers first need to cancel her visa and then you take a copy of that cancellation along with maids passport and photographs to apply for her visa under your sponsorship. I don't know the exact details of where and how to apply because a guy at my husband's office did the whole application for us. I think you have 30 or 60 days after her visa is cancelled to complete her visa process under your sponsorship. There are some PRO companies that can do this for you.

Call Joseph 050 185 6763. His company cleaned our villa when we moved out and it looked amazing when they were finished (I hasten to add it wasn't filthy when they began but it needed a deep clean, especially the tiled floors etc.) Thanks, I'll give him a call.

Hi Could someone please recommend a company for deep clean of villa before moving in (and their contact number)? I'm looking for a professional company with proper equipment, not a maid service. Thank you!

Hi, I'm 29 and have a 6 month old daughter. We just moved to dubai a year ago and I havent had the chance to meet many people because I was pregnant and then busy with the baby. But now I would really like to make some new friends. By the way, I live in Arabian Ranches too.
