How are you planning your trip from Dubai? Do you mind sharing your itenary? Will you spending time in Athens, or catching the immeditate available flight from Athens to Santorini? We are going in May and spending 6 nights in Santorini. You will find it much quicker to fly between islands if your budget allows. Look at the different prices for flight times though, as middle of the day flights can be 3 times the cost of morning or afternoon. The only other island we have visited in the past was Mykonos, which was lovely but completely different to Santorini. Look at santoriniDave.com for up to date info and ideas.

Hey all.. Been trying various ways to loose weight that I gained during pregnancy since the past 6 months; but to no luck..I can focus on following a diet but am unable to stick to doing exercises on my own and I think getting someone to train and guide me would be a great start. I stay in discovery gardens and have work until 6..Would any1 have recommendation for a good trainer?

Dear Ladies/Moms, I am a bit worried about my baby who just turned 9 months today. He was born at 32 weeks, so his corrected age would be 7.5 months. My baby doesn't do anything other than rolling over. And he hates tummy time and wont stay on his tummy for more than 10 mins without crying. I try to motivate him by putting a toy in front of him, sometimes a mirror, lie along with him on my tummy, make him lie on my tummy. Nothing seems to help him go beyond rolling. The toughest bit is people who meet me keep asking 'has your son started standing on his own' :(. I just feel lost and helpless and dont know what to do! I keep trying to tell myself that he will do it at his own pace but don't babies crawl and sit by 7 months? I was wondering if any of you know of any good pediatric docs who handles baby developments. edited by sj070511 on 07/09/2014

Hey there, Would any of you be able to recommend good round hair brushes I can pick up from dubai for styling hair and adding volume by blow drying? My hair type is wavy and averagely thick. Also any suggestions on good blow dryers and flat irons? Thanks

rinco tailors in bur Dubai (meena bazaar) do stitching in 24hrs and u can buy the material from them as well... Do they stitch casual dresses? Like if I show them a pattern or style will they replicate it exactly? Do you know how much they would charge roughly?

I will never take maternity photoshoot in jeans. I did mine in tight long Maxi dresses which accentuated my figure and covered my feet. If you have already purchased shorter frocks I think stockings should help you. thanks..did u do your shoot in dxb?

Hey Ladies...I am running 31 weeks of my pregnancy now and really suffering from swollen feet...I have been dreaming since months to do a maternity shoot and had even got my clothes and props ready for it that I have noticed I have been having swollen feet since the past 2 weeks :( My doc said there is nothing to worry and my health is fine..I have been trying lot of remedies to reduce this but it hasnt helped much..It just looks like am walking on top of two baloons :( Can any1 suggest what I could possibly do to cover this during my shoot? Any fashion ideas that I could do to cover my feet and legs when I am wearing my pretty frock? Will a stockings with front covered flats help? I dont know..Or mayb I will have to dismiss the idea of my dress and just wear regular pants or jeans :(

Hi, the ones in the photo processing shops (can't remember the exact names but yellow signs) like the one near Spinneys in Safa, or at Park and Shop they're dotted all over the place, usually have a good choice of wooden frames in different shapes and sizes, and not overly expensive either. Thanks Scribs

Here is my two pence on baby sleeping bags: * They are outrageously priced here, esp in Just Kidding. You occasionally find them in Mcare or Babyshop * I find Grobag the best brand * I order from a website called Babycurls.co.uk - they do twin packs of Grobags for 35GBP which is about 200aed for 2 (bargain) and get them shop and shipped here * I buy 1 tog as I have some 2,5 tog ones and baby is far too hot in them - better to layer up with a vest n sleepsuit than put them in and for them to start overheating Thank you for your response. How long would it take to ship to Dubai? edited by sj070511 on 21/11/2013 approx 1 week. and did u mean 200 AED inclusive of the shipping charges? no that's extra but you will probs pay between 40-60dhs for that. I usually buy in bulk so it works out cheaper. Are you sure your the account you have in babycurls is of UAE address? They dont even seem to have an option to chose UAE under country :( ...Cant set u an account!

Hairworks is great. My stylist is going on maternity leave in a few weeks. Janice - I think that's how she spells it. She is excellent and I have been really put at ease with her after some very expensive disasters at some recommended salons. She has booked me in with Marika while she is away. Yes I had heard a lot about Janice too..but she would be on leave the days am looking at..as of now I have booked an appointment with Nabiha..she seems to be having only positive reviews as well..fingers crossed..hope I will be happy and contended after the cut...

I have changed hairdressers here as many times as I've had hot dinners. I went to Inger once and was pleased enough with what she'd done that I made a second appointment with her. I don't know what happened the second time, maybe she was rushed because I arrived late (my own fault for always misjudging how long it takes to get to SZR from my house), but I decided she was too expensive for the result. I also didn't like being pressurized by the receptionist to make my next appointment whilst I was paying for that one. Pastels do my colour beautifully, I am still trying to find someone to give me the right cut! Thanks for replying..do you noe how Nabiha oe Yvonne are??

Heyy friends, I have been hunting really hard for a hairdresser and after viewing a lof of positive reviews on Hairworks, I had decided to book an appointment with their branch in Ibn Battuta. Unfortunately, Jennie is on leave and wont be back for about 2 months, Jewel has left the salon and doesn't work for them anymore. Yovene isn't in their Ibn Battuta branch. I have been reading only reviews on the above stylists and to my bad luck none of them are available. Hence I booked my appointment with Inger. Does any1 know how this stylist is? Has any1 got their hair done with her or knows her because you are regular customer of Hairworks? Is there any other stylist you would recommend? I am very anxious about having to have my hair messed up after paying hefty for a hair cut. I am off for a long awaited vaccation and really want to get an amazing hair makeover. I dont want be going off with a haircut I would regret for. Please do help me out. Hope to receive feedbacks and do provide your suggestions please :)
