Hi I've searched and can find old threads saying this isn't usually possible but hoping things may have changed. I really need someone just for 2 hours 4 or 5 days a week rather than 2x4hour slots. Does anyone know of any agencies that can do this? It's just for cleaning/keeping on top of things not childcare or anything. Thanks

not really, we usually have a deadline for applications and sometimes don't start shortlisting until we reach the deadline but definitely a week isn't very long. it might seem long to the person applying but the recruiter and or hiring manager are working on many other things at the same time and the position might not always be top of their list. also at this time of year with end of year financials looming we are sometimes on a go slow so that the recruitment falls into the new year Oh I hope so, I'll be a bit more patient then :)

You should wait about 1-2 weeks from the last day of the interview campaign. If you don't receive any response, don't be afraid of connecting directly with them to ask about your result which could give you a straight answer whether you've made it or it's time to move on ;)) Hi Haven't had interview, just applied for a role that said 'shortlisted candidates only contacted' so I guess after a week or so I should stop hoping? :cry:

I realise this is 'as long as a piece of string' question but, how long after a job advert finishes would you expect to hear if you were one of the ones being considered - 'shortlisted candidates will only be contacted' is no good for impatient people :lol:
