Thank you so much for the replies ladies! This is great to know! Kareemab: I'm not even a convert. I was raised a Christian and I am married to a Muslim. I've always loved the teachings and tenets of both religions but I find it difficult to worship as a Christian because I just don't have faith in the Trinity; or that Jesus was the Son of God/God incarnate. Sorry, mean no offence to other Christians but I just have never been at peace with it and I'm sure you can understand why that would make the worship difficult to follow especially here where many of the churches are american style/evangelical so I was looking for quite a casual, supportive group where I might learn a bit more about Islam, the Qu'ran and its people with a view of possibly converting in the future. Just now I just really want to worship and learn with others who have faith. Kareemab you're right-I don't want to be overwhelmed Maroosh-thank you for the list -I will look into it in more detail for sure! Apricot-do you know this ladies name or contact details please? Thanks again

Hi PhiPhi this is a little off topic but I'm in the process of setting up my own brand and business now, also in retailing bespoke products designed and made by me (it's not jewellery) I was just wondering if you go to/did go to any networking events or meet ups where fledgling entrepreneurs like me could meet up with more established ones like you? Also very interested in the responses here, IA I'll be looking for investors for my wee start up in a few years. Sorry again for going a bit off topic. I hope you find the right investment opportunity for you x

My friend has a beautiful conservatory but that was in the Reef Villas, not sure about Arabian Ranches but I don't think Emaar strictly allow it. Funny how it's different rules for different freehold developers. I think it's ridiculous that you can own your own villa but not be allowed to even paint the exterior walls....control freaks*ahem* anyway, here's a picture of hers, she used this UK company and was happy with them http://www.swiftrooms.ae/swiftrooms-dubai/Galleries

Mumof Moo, sorry if I caused offense. I was referring to my personal experience and history and taking it to inform my choices. I totally understand that every family is different, and more so every woman is differet. in fact, Imorgan I have one or two friends who have chosen to keep working because they just know that being with baby all day would bring an end to their sanity. I guess it is each to their own depending on what works best for your personally and for your family isn't it?

Thanks Ekari! I'll check it out then! I do have insurance and this is one of the hospitals that it covers. Good to know antenatal and delivery would all be done under one roof. I'm still really interested to know if anyone has delivered in Jebel Ali Lifeline hospital?

Congratulations! I'm due late august (I think...we've not had dating yet). I've had one ultrasound and going for another in a week and a half but after that will hold off until I'm 12 weeks and that's when the tests begin I think... Mollydxb, I'm just wondering why the nuchal fold transclucency scan is needed here, just I understood that it's used so people can make an informed decision about continuing the pregnancy if the foetus is affected but that's not an option here is it? Or did I completely misunderstand the function of it?

I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy Celesti. I hope when you are with your family that they can give you the love and support to make the right decision for you. A very similar thing happened with my husband when I moved here in 2008, we had also been together 8 years. I knew what I could and couldn't move on from, although I knew I could forgive him I also knew I could never forget the betrayal so had one chat with him then filed for divorce. In hindsight, although it took me time to recover, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. 5 years on I'm been married to a man who's worth 10 of my first husband for 2 years now and have never been happier. Of course, only you can decide what's best for you and your daughter in this situation. Also agree with the others opinions regarding the mistress-don't concern yourself with her now but do keep the phone or messages as evidence. I returned the phone to my cheating spouse and later regretted keeping it because despite informing the head teacher of his employees adultery nothing happened to her because there was no evidence so I couldn't even go to the police. It's very natural to want justice but channel your energies into your own well-being for the time being. Thinking of you xx
