Thank you so much for the clarification.. I went already for all the follow up with DR Laura in there. They are very helpful and quick .. Did you take any vitamins or baby aspirin before or af...
Dr. Laura is amazing, she was my main Dr. she told me to take Pregnacare & extra folic acid, I still do! No asprin for me. I walked, walked & walked, several times a day. I did pilates 3 times a week & tried to be calm. I didn't carry anything heavy or lift anything over 1kg! I slept when I was tired, listened to what my body wanted. I ate a healthy, low carb, low sugar diet & avoided anyone who was sick. I read about foods to eat & foods to avoid, but trusted the doctors & was just sensible. I was naughty & took a home pregnancy test 6 days after transfer, it was positive. I was told not to do this as it could dissapoint, I tested every day for 10 days, i was still happier knowing than not! IVI did the hcg blood test & I had the results within 1 hour, I had another hcg blood test 48 hours later to confirm. I had so many questions, no one knew we were going through this, it was tough, even tougher keeping quiet until 3 months. We didn't even tell our parents. Online forums kept me sane, the baby centre uk was a brilliant help with people going through the same & even some people at the same clinics.

I am having FET natural cycle and I was told that transfert should be around 16 days after 1st day of my period .. and was given estrogen progesterone and antibiotic.. How was your protocol? Ho...
My transfer was 19 days after the first day of my period (I was told if period arrived before 12 noon that was day 1). I had just one scan done 10 days before my transfer & then blood tests done every 2 days for estrogen & progesterone & for monitoring ovulation. I was given Progyluton to regulate my cycle & I just took progesterone pesseries 3 x per day, i can't remember when I started those, but I took them until I was 12 weeks. If you are in Abu Dhabi, I highly recommend you go to IVI near Marina Mall, staff are amazing & you can take your file with you from Spain. I used to go about 8am & get the first appointment, i was always out by 8.45, blood tests & scans! :)

Congratulations on your pregnancy.. I wish you a smooth and easy delivery !!! I finally got the PGD test and now I am waiting for my period to start for the Frozen Embryo Transfer.. I try not ...
Thank you so much, very excited! That's great news, I wish you all the best of luck. I know exactly how you feel, I walked a lot trying to keep my mind busy, the 2 week wait seemed like 2 months, i watched lots of movies which made me laugh too, my husband was great & took me out fora healthy lunch every day. I had frozen embryo transfer with a natural cycle, the only medication that I had was Progesterone. We delayed one month as my lining was so thin, that's why IVI wanted to try the natural cycle.

Hi Sasamaka, We used IVI abu dhabi & they were amazing. We only had 1 embryo to transfer from 21 eggs, I am now struggling to touch my toes!!! - I didn't like the old cliché 'it only takes one' but, that's the truth. I just wanted to whisper good luck, it is so stressful but let's hope you get amazing results. xxx
