Thanks very much both. That sounds quite positive, so it seems something worth pursuing. Do you think Syrians can still get work visas in UAE? I heard that it's gotten harder for Syrians and Egyptians nowadays, but don't know if this information is very accurate. Thanks again :-)

Good afternoon everyone, I wonder if someone could give me some advice... I'm a British woman and an English teacher. I've lived and worked in the Gulf before and I'm considering working in Qatar soon. But I'd like to know - can I bring my husband? I think I can earn the required salary, but I don't know if there are other rules. He's Syrian - are there any nationality restrictions? Also, once he's resident there, could he get a work permit or labor card? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks :-)
