Just feel down in the dumps ...after failing once. Then I got alloted a teacher who goes on and on about how i dont know to control the wheel and says I will definitely fail in the next test ! Don't feel bad. I've had the same experience before. I always had that feeling that these instructors are very bored with their jobs, they just want to take their frustrations out on their students. I got my license on my third attempt. One piece of advice: don't sit next to sulking or worried students who are also taking the exam. They rub off the negativity on you.

Hear that it is a nightmare - is that right or a bit of an exaggeration? Driving in Dubai, personally has been okay so far. Of course, you'll get the occasional drivers who would just cut lanes, but I guess you get that anywhere anyway. What really annoys me, are those people who would walk without a care and cross roundabouts! ROUNDABOUTS!

Dr. Elsa was great. I saw her all throughout my first pregnancy. She was working at the city hospital then.

WHAT? Dr Chantal has been our dentist for the past 3 years and we were told at Nicolas and ASp that she has gone on indefinite leave !!! Weve been reassigned to another dentist, who seems nice as well but I wish I knew that Dr Chantal was still around in Dubai....grrrr BTW, Dr Chantal is amazing...simply amazing! Yes, Dr Nicolas always does that, they told us that our other dentist, Dr Chris had gone back to Sweden, then a year later I found him on here and saw him at Dr Michaels too and he said he never left he had been here all the time............why lie??! I can't believe they have been lying to everyone. My dr is dr Donelson and guess where he is now? Dr Michaels of course. Tracked him on fb. :(

"And my point is that guns do not kill people - people kill people." I agree. We try so much to shield our LOs from violence and hate. And I feel that it's important that we instill in them the values that will pretty much dictate how they will behave when we are not there. Sometimes when we cartoons, I'll' ask my sons "Do you think that's right?", "Do you think its okay to do that?", just to see how they react and correct them if needed.

Anyone know a good place to get some?? There's a Korean Supermarket close to where we live. It's in Al Barsha called 1004 Mart. They've got a HUGE variety of kimchi! I checked and it looks like they have an online shop as well. http://www.my1004mart.com/

Yes. I agree. DH and I used propertyfinder to find an apartment. We live in Barsha in a 2BHK apartment. Ours is 110K/year.

We had hot chicken soup for the whole family. The LOs were excited! First time to see what raining actually feels like!
