Well ladies i appreciate the negative and all feedback really. I am the product of a mixed background i am too half middle eastern and consider myself to be pretty conservative. Although i had alot of pressures such as u speak of growing up all my life in LA i completely agree with you all. I am thinking of pageants that actually are more based on talents and not revealing or giving women any bad ideas to which they take into negative accounts for themselves or other women. I am thinking of trying to start a business to give young women something to put some focus into and feel accomplished. I also feel it is just a good business avenue and although i do not agree with the ones you see on TV i am not thinking of taking it that route at all. But i do like how most women agree with young girls modeling but not something that could be tastefully done if done the right way.

btw which villa do u live in/? AND HAVE U FOUND UR DEWA BILL TO BE VERY HIGH? I am trying to relieve my husbands worries of tons of bugs infiltrating the villa, high dewa bills, and high traffic towards shiekh zayed during rush to work

Hello all! If i am so lucky as to find someone who needs to lease a 3 bed villa in the al furjan villas i would be to the moon and back! Went and saw my friends place and fell in love i reallllllllllllly want to find a landlord that can work with me and my little family. I think men dont like typing more than they need to, they are mostly straight to the point, i am sure he loves you and probably doesnt want to have a back and forth argument as he doesnt want her to become spiteful and not work with him on selling their property... i would leave it alone she obviously is divorced for a reason and married you for a reason... when we as women show to much jealousy i see men see it as a plus on their end and makes us look as if we dont have confidence in ourselves...

Hello ladies, i witnessed this fire get bigger and bigger when my fire alarm set off at 2 am and i look out my window to see flaming pieces of materials flying into my balcony all we did was run out with our kids... I am going to find a way to email the government about their lack of knowledge of putting fires out in tall buildings, its like they built the tallest building in the world but have never prepared for a fire being put out at the top of one... it lasted for HOURS we had to seek refuge and crossed the metro bridge to the marina since i luckily grabbed my purse before leaving with my 4 month old and toddler... whats sad is most people had no wallet or even phones.. and we lent my husbands phone to many.. the sad part was how firemen are too at a large danger since they do not have the equipment needed to deal with these situations... I live in al seef 2 which is right the side of the building that was the most engulfed in flames... it took firemen 20-30 minutes to put out a car fire which caught fire from the materials falling from the sky... in which a few cars exploded windows and all and caught fire to more cars... It is very sad and depressing and i am looking for a way to help because luckily our building which nearly caught fire many times in the night, didnt.. i thank god a million times over for protecting us but i feel for the many people who have lost their homes in tamweel tower...

Thank you SushiFee we are 2 adults and two children under 3 [ 3 months old, and 2 year old'> was looking at staying at the new york.. how were the ones u stayed at? Also will be taking train from central london to paris for a weekend.... is it more worth it to stay in paris close to the tower and just take transport to disney?

depends on your budget but theres a really nice one at crate and barrel its called a chair and a half and its a big comfy sofa chair which can fit about me my hubby and toddler in for story time... good luck!!

Hey GirlAnchorism, i think we spoke a long time ago about meeting up but never did! Anyways hope ur doing well... i live in Al-SEEF 2 which is cluster U and LOVE it not sure what prices are like as my year here is almost up but everything is really great large spaces lots of storage and closet space and well maintained building with minimal problems.. also close to metro station

I get what your saying Marrosh but i can relate in someways i think people forget how the employees they are training have learned english as a second language and may not grasp meanings as well as they are used to, it can be frustrating so maybe he was venting in a way he shouldnt have to you... other than that i was pointing out more of what the other posters say about generalizing americans which i do not like nor stand for.

I went there last night and absolutely LOVED IT, i felt like i was back home in the OC and its exactly what i needed since i havent been back in a year! Food is just as good as back home you jsut have to know what to order. and i am SICK of everyone talking smack on americans being this way or that way... they are in a new country probably only as far as 3 weeks back now... dealing with language barriers which is why they are probably speaking louder and clearer to try and be understood better... i get so annoyed with the whole americans are loud thing i find many other cultures have people who are loud and people who are more on the quiet side enough with the stereotypes... do u all feel that much better as well? They are not being arrogant they have a month to train people before they go back home.. just doing their jobs in a foreign land with majority of foreign customers... RANT OVER

I am half Libyan, though born and raised in California, i had to learn to make Libyan food because unfortunately there are never any authentic restaurants! There is one called LIDO next to mercato mall which is morrocan/tunisian and tunisian is the closest cuisine to Libyan food...... if anyone really wants to learn how to make it i can always post a few of my recipes?

I used to use magic jack when i first moved here about 4 years ago... it then got blocked out where i was living but my moms worked strangely on the other side of dubai.. it then got blocked out until my step dad did some trip to have a international IP address... hope you get it sorted out!

Not sure if these are braxton hicks but when i walk i tend to feel almost a cramp like feeling in my bones mostly in the pelvic bone where it meets the thigh and in my rear end... strange i never felt with my first born... hopefully its all nothing just a bit worried is all... and at times feeling sharp pains in lower abdomen...

Thank you for all your advice ladies, i really appreciate it... saw some reg binding type underwear that reaches just under your bra line in debenhams thought it looked nice enough and flexible too so much so that u can actually bend... the ones that seem to be specifically for post partum are like 300 and up! While reg ones that seem just as good are about 150... u know what dubai is like...

I completely agree Joyce definitely realize as i grow that no one has the PERFECT body and would like to try and keep things in the right place, better than getting surgery to fix it in my own opinion.. but whose to say i wont want some down the line... lol to rejuvenate... never say never..

Goldeelocks i am glad u made ur assumptions i am looking for something after delivering my second child, i am actually extremely healthy and my doc is very proud that ive only put on 12 KG during my pregnancy and i never even really needed to buy any prenatal clothes... just stretchy cotton things... but like i said thanks for the assumption you just prove how catty women are before knowing ones intentions....

I totally understand where ur coming from, my house feels the same... I know rugs do the trick and so does hanging mirrors and pictures on walls... Painting really makes a big difference and make everything cozy vs. modern and cold feeling... i guess it would help to know if u have a villa because villas take a lot of filling up sometimes to feel cozy
