By the sandwich shop idea, do you ladies mean something along the lines of Lime Tree? I've only just discovered them and was quite excited until I tried their cakes. I thought they were horrid. And the sandwiches were only just. I realise you're talking about custom made sandwiches and these aren't but I'm actually thinking of doing something like this and so thought I'd ask. Sorry to the OP... not trying to take over your thread. Might you be needing any assistance in starting this up? I have so many ideas but i am lacking in requirements as i am only 24 but have a 18 month old dd which i cannot start something like this up now which is my dream and passion! What if i semi started up out of home the sandwich/ salad/ dessert type thing for functions or little get togethers you ladies have and tell me if my recipes are worth starting a business out of... i like to think im actually pretty excellent at salads seeing as i live on them and love them to death! My step dad always encourages me to bottle up my home made dressings from scratch and put my name on the label... might this be anything any of you could see happening and supporting through using me for small get togethers at first?

Hi Lakshmi! I know the perfect place to get them and they come in different kinds! CANDELITE which is in mirdiff mall and ibn battuta china court! They have a great selection there good luck!

thanks ladies for all the advice... i def will have that bath and cup of tea as soon as DH gets back from work in terms of being back in the US this is the type of thing that would result in a lawsuit but knowing how difficult many things can get here i do not think it would work out that way! Thanks again and looking forward to some positive something happening soon!

Might i ask where your from? Just wondering what type of service your used to, i know my MIL in the Uk complains about docs there but i have nothing but praises for the docs ive had my whole life in the US... Although she just could have been to the bad few?

You are always protective of anything American, while back home you probably complained about those very things yourself that you are now defending! You watch movies/ tv shows which are based in America that you never even watched living there just as some form of comfort... You miss Olive Garden and Cheesecake Factory and 99 Cent store and Sams Club, the taste of real quality cakes and real quality home baked things are just not the same here! Cheap and amazing Mexican food! ahh the list goes on.... I feel ill never get to live there again Born and Bred in the OC.... Been here 2.5 years.... :**(

Daiso!!! I love that place, virtually have everything! Not the best quality but a cookie cutter is a cookie cutter right? Daiso is in Oasis centre mall 2nd floor or in mirdiff city center on ground floor near carrefour.
