Arohadxb, I really would notify the 3 he has nominated and try and get the power of attorney sorted out. My father was adamant he did not want to do this a few years ago, but now I believe he is in the early stages of Alzheimers I have pushed the subject on him. He has relented and is willing now to let me have the P O A. I am not using it to abuse his wishes, just to ensure later on I can make the best decisions to keep him safe and well cared for. You might even discover that the 3 people already have their suspicions about the state of his mental health. Good Luck Love

Hi Lovey. I have had some experience of it as my previuos husbands mother had it and she lived with us. It was really hard work to be honest. I also feel my Dad has the on set of it as well as at times he can be incredibly forgetful, even days of the week and dates, he just cant seem to remember what i have told him from one day to the next. My first advise to you would be to see if you can get enduring power of atorney. I am just starting the process for my dad now. This enables you to make decisions for them when they are unable to later on. You need to do this early on as your dad will need to consent to this while he still has some understanding. I feel for you as it will be a long hard road caring for them. Take care and big hugs ACB

thought You ladies might enjoy this!!!! have finally figured out why I'm overweight! The shampoo I use in the shower that runs down my body says " for extra volume and body". I'm going to start using dish-washing liquid, it says "dissolves fat that is otherwise difficult to remove".

Girls will just have to re name ourselves weight shifters!!!! WW will dot endorse us having any kind of group over here. But we can just say it is a few friends getting together, wether we follow old points or new. It is the support that counts and frsh idea. We Can Shift that fat together. ACB

I have wriiten to them pleaded with them but they will not allow WW group over here. I was happy to run a weigh in and support group as I too still need to get off a couple of stone. It is the only weigh ( pardon the pun to shift the weight plus excercise) I wanted to combine a half hour excercise with a qualified instructor plus weigh in and WW chat. But they said no. I lost 30 KGS last time on WW this way. piled it back on when I fell off the wagon but now back on the straight and narrow. ACB

I contacted Weight Watchers Uk about starting a group over here. They replied and ssaid this not one of the countries they a re interested in starting WW such a shame. Maybe we should just run a support group and weigh in each week. Boo Hoo ACB

I have the complete new pro points at home plan for sale if any one wants it. Premium pack includes everything to use on the pro plan points calulator, pedometer cook book, tracker complete folder explaining the diet. I ordered two packs by mistake so have this one if anyone wants to buy it off me. Cost 89.00 pounds in the Uk. Brilliant sysytem. I find weight watchers is the only way to lose weight, not feel deprived of anything combined with a bit of excerise the pounds fall off you in a sensible manner. Hope this can help someone else. I have lost 1 1/2 stone so far. ACBxx

Rebecca at Hairworks Spinneys On Al Wasl road is fantastic with blondes. I had a huge disaster with a Hotel Hairdresser here and she fixed my tangerine colour to platinum blonde. Hi I have been prescribed tramadol as I have a muscle tear in the hip. I took two of the pills at 6pm last night and it relieved the pain. However now I am feeling terrible, light headed, nauseous and confused. Is this normal. THX ACB

Never had to get any of the paperwork notarised. I think 3 months supply is the maximum you would be able to bring in with a valid prescription.

You just need the prescription copies, you have to carry these with you all the time you have concerta on you as they are a Narcotic, for example, when travelling on holiday, you take the meds in your bag then the prescription copy has to be with you. I think for 36mgs it will cost around 250 Dhs. Also over here if you get a prescription you only have a day or so to fill it. If it is issued on the last day of the month then you have to fill it on that day, otherwise you need to go back and get another prescription. Nightmare I know!!!

Dr Shama Rashid is also good. She is based at the Child Learning and Enrichment Centre, just of al Wasl road. Prescription re fill charges are 150 Dhs plus around 240 for the meds. Appoints are 450 and include the prescription charge. She has a lincence here and in the US.

Hi Ladies, I have just started weight watchers again, lost over a stone in 5 weeks, dont waste money!!! I use the Lean cuisine range as they are all ready pointed up on the box. Huge variety available from Choithrams. Or you can use smart ones. HTH and good luck I have another 1 1/2 stone to go truelly beleive weight watchers and excercise is the way forward. Good luck ACB

Thanks ladies Just at my wits end with it 22kgs over weight have tried every diet known to man. Not sure what to do apart from have my mouth stitched up!!! How did you find the band was that successful? I know of one friend who had this and it has changed her life. I am not sure I can get it though as I thought you had to be 40kgs over.
