Thanks Mover and Serendipity. Looks like Fetal Medicine is the place then- will give them a call. Serendipity- congratulations to you too :) How far along are you? FMC is not the only place in Dubai. Dr George is excellent, saw him for our 12 week scan, having previously gone to FMC and this time didn't want to have the blood work done "internally" at the FMC clinic and thought he was wonderful. Explained things more clearly and his bedside manner gentle and professional. http://www.ahdubai.com/medservices/physicians_dtls.aspx?dr_id=141

We have stayed at both and they don't even compare.. If you can afford qasr al sarab, def go there.. Tilal, while comfortable and a nice break, it has one restaurant, a tiny pool, no spa and one small bar. Service was good though and it's fine for a quiet break. There's also a diff in star ratings too.

Does AH have staff issues like city hospital? After the midwife/nurse stories coming out and the staff shortages, it's a shame nothing is being done about it.

We must have missed you! See you there next week then :D. For sure! Let me know which day and time.. We're happy to go twice in one week too. Alex is starting to get bored and whiny at home so I'm always at one of these places in the afternoons. :)

Hi ladies, I know a while back one of you was frantic that this isnt available here. I have a box left over from last year, unopened and good till 2012. I only took it for a few weeks and then changed my mind. Now pg again!

We were in oasis this afternoon as well and after trying out peekaboo at MOE, mini monsters, time square and the soft play area in magic planet, this is by far our favorite and what's better is it's only 20 dhs per hr as opposed to 40 in most of the other places.. And the added bonus, DS hasn't been trampled on once and it's spool quiet and small enough to keep an eye on the wee one from a distance.

That's shocking!! I bought loads from them last year and I knew I paid nowhere near 23 each so I checked. They're really reasonable for boxes and bubble wrap etc but do NOT use them to move you. That was a lesson learnt but us in the summer. Thanks SD! You've saved me a fortune!!

No! 53x53x53cm are AED 7 each, 45x45x45 are AED 5 each and 45x45x75 (high) are AED 6 each. Bluebird: 04 285 5165 Thanks! Called them and confirmed. Called another guy referred from a friend and he said 20 each! Craziness.. They must be making tidy little profits on the side!

I use the air wrap (had it sent from oz before baby and me started selling it here). My LO's cot doesn't have a drop down side but there's only a tiny gap in his bed and still works. Sorry can't help with the little linen company.
