I've been going to Real Pilates for about a year now and I love it. If you buy packages of 10 classes it works out to about 55 per class which is reasonable. I think they had an offer on cobone/groupon a few days ago that was quite cheap as well. Zen yoga also has pilates classes but I've never been.

Hi Lolacat, there's a tiny store called sew it in Jumeirah Centre, I'm pretty sure you could get this done there.

I dont think cellulite ever goes away, and I doubt creams and moisturizers would help. I have been dry brushing before showering for a few months now and I feel like although the cellulite is still there it is less noticeable. Maybe you could try this?

Although I've never been to the JLT branch, I have been taking classes at Jumeirah since September and I love love love it. I have a back problem so was worried that I might be pushed too far (happened to me once in a yoga class) but they are lovely and make sure that you do not push yourself beyond your limits.

Hi, just saw this thread. What's the car parking like at the Jumeirah branch? There's free parking in the basement.

Hi Samara, I don't know if you've found this already but I was in Neal's Yard Remedies in Dubai Mall and they have it. It's pricey though, AED 60 for a smallish bottle They also have some other oils, I got jojoba and grapeseed oil from there. edited by bumblebee11 on 07/02/2013

Thanks for the replies. Do you think it would be nicer a little later in the year? Any suggestions for somewhere in Europe a bit warmer that time of year? I know I could look on Lonely Planet etc but I would appreciate some advice from people who've been recently :) Thanks!

You can get lovely cufflinks with someone's name written in Arabic calligraphy in Mercato, at one of the stalls upstairs
