There is an article in Gulfnews friday magazine this week about a lady who is over weight with PCOD who got pregnant after following special diet . jackieq513, Thank you for your replay,, That is very assuring, I really want natural delivery and epidural is not a big deal for me. I have few questions if you don't mind, I'm 33 weeks so will they accept me or it's late ? Do they have a clinic in which i have to register or shall i go to the hospital directly ? Do you recommend any special ob/gyn ? Thanks in advance

Green-ish and TanyaR, Thank you for your replay, I'm not worried about delivery it self, i'm aware that medcare is one of the best private hospitals in Dubai and that was the reason i chose it in first place. But unfortunately my insurance coverage is very limited in case anything goes wrong with the baby i.e NICU admission if in medcarem while it will be unlimited in AD. Another reason is i had witnessed many cases where the private hospitals refer the difficult cases to government -special in Dubai- and the answer came as No ! I know that i'm anxious person special i keep considering the worse senario although my pregnancy and my baby are totally fine so far, but i can't stop thinking about it. As i mention in my previous replay , i will keep following with medcare, but at the same time i will register and follow with alain, and seems i have to relocate if i considerd the second option. Thanks alot again for sharing your opinions and advice.

Spamm, I have heard great things about Corniche too, but it's in the centre of AD which makes it difficult option. The hospital with water-birth in Al-Ain is called Cormwell, It looks like five star hotel but its new and comparing to medcare since both are private, medcare is more established , i think. Macallan,, I totally agree with you, although i spent years in driving in Dubai-AD highway, but the 50 minutes may be longer in case of labour,, after thinking living in Al-ain after 36 weeks will be the safer option.

Day 5 in Gastroenteritis is usually the worst day.weither the cause is the anti-biotic , rota virus or any other reason, your baby has to be re-evaluated again. Dehydration is serious issue. From my experience i would say : When mummy or nany thinks the baby is not ok, most properly He/she is not ok. Please get her seen ASAP. I hope you LO get better soon.

If he got hungry he will eat, so don't worry about it. As they say Hunger is Anger. Most proberly he gets excited and busy when you are out that he ignores the food, but if he really gets hungry trust me he will start beig fussy and wont sittle down untill he eats. If i'm in your shoes i would enjoy my time out as long he is happy and seems enjoying it. No need to rush home, he is 5 1/2 months and trust me at this age they know how to demand food.

The best advice i can give about formula is : keep trying until you find the right for your baby. There is no such thing as perfect formula. For my daughter she was on S26 and she was doing great until we used the second satge Promil , she had bad constipation. So i start using Similack stage 2 and it works fine. At some point i used babylack and Novolack until i found the right formula for her. There is no right or wrong in formula, it's all depend on your LO.

Oooh, This is totally normal. Don't worry things will improve in the coming few days. Teething gel was of great help with LO. Also i used to give her big cold carrot when she was awake. They need to rub their gum and the cold carrot was great hep. ( big so she can't sollow it ) Good luck

It is very common in pregnancy,,, so dont worry.. I ,ve suffered from it almost every night during my first pregnancy. The best thing to do is whenever you have one, stretch your leg and move your foot toward you. It will improve immediately.

I used to work in pediatric department in mafraq hospital in abudhabi and tawam hospital in alain, both of them are government hospital, they have amazing consultant and specialist. Both of them run clinics daily, moreover u can go to the emergency anytime,, if u r interested tell me the age of ur baby and the problem and i can sugest some names ( since like anywhere else not everyone is good listener.. )

The problem with keratine treatment , its expensive but doesn't last for long time.. I did it in Amro saloon in AlGurair centre one and half year back, since my hair is long it cost around 2500 DHs and extra 200 for the special shampoo and conditioner that u have to use after. the prices start with 1500 as i remmber, the result was great for the first 2 month then the effect disapear, well at least my hair was great in my wedding so i dont regret it. I think they have other branches in shangreall hotel and media city. Good luck
