captainjacky, why did you have to mention hot, buttery toast with marmite??? Why??? mmm delicious when the better melts and the marmite is soaking into the toast....go on..you know you want to... And scooping the remnants of butter and marmite of the knife with your thumb and forefinger....... Mmmm... Sorry...Getting a bit carried away now...And maybe thats not something that i should admit to on a pubic forum....

I've just had leftover spag bol and 2 rounds of toast and marmite! Me p i g g y... But you do have an excuse after your night of excess ;-) Ahem.... Now all i need is a huge bag of onion rings, a sausage and egg Mc Muffin and some hot and spicy pringles.....WHAT did you do? Popped to Matalan at lunchtime and ended up in Fibber McGees till......Late!!

Depends where in Dubai you are...But Horizon in Grand Habtoor has 3 free sparklies up till 11pm (incidently Bartini which is in the same place as Horizon has 2 free cocktails but you have to ask at the bar and they will give you tokens....They don't really publicise it??!!) Senyar at the Westin has 3 free bubbles...(if there's 2 of you, club in all 6 tokens and get a bottle....)

the highest quote i got was aed350.but i got one guy for aed200 per hour . with Lee, just by telling him over the phone my initial issues, i don't like his attitude. anyway, the one that i got in the end i found it in here. they are at Discovery Garden . can't recall at all the company name. but he is nice and helpful.quick too to save me bucks... I've recommended this company on here before. Really nice, knowledgeable guy. Its ACTS (Al Awan Computer Consultancy). Zen 02 Bldg 18 Ground floor. 04 4489104. Its right next to The British Kebab Shop.... ahhh of cos, captain Jacky! yes that's the one ! tks! No probs! Used them a couple of times. Computers are really not my thing (!!) and really appreciated his honesty and patience!!! Brilliant price too....

My mum was over the other week and said her highlight was Global Village. Also enjoyed Madinet Jumeirah (Everyone loves Madinet!), afternoon/evening at Irish Village, sauntering down JBR Walk and Ladies Night!!! Can feel your pain on the bickering front though.... Webcam conversations truly give me a valid reason to love living in Dubai....

A glass before cooking. Preferably on an empty stomach. So I wouldnt remember I had a glass before I started cooking... So Id have a glass whilst cooking. And then Id need a glass with dinner cause the food was burnt because.... well, Id jussht have frogrotten to stove off the turn. And then I would have another glass after dinner to help get the remaining charcoal washed down my throat. Love it wikkid. A scenario that is played out in my kitchen with unfortunate regularity....

Suggest your husband rent him a studio apartment somewhere That sounds like the most logical solution. He is not elderly and can still spend time with your family without it becomming overbearing.

Only been there with my hubby but don't think there are any problems at all!! You may find it slightly less westernised than Dubai...But very similar to Abu Dhabi in terms of ratio of expats and locals. Enjoy...Its a lovely place.
