oh god this is tricky. Personally i would say something afterall if it was your child u would want to know.Could you not ring police or something but have a witness with you.I know some parents might think u are interfering but at least if its in the open and the doubt is there they might pay more attention to whats going on!!!! best advice i ever got was from my midwife she told me get down on your hands and knees so u will see everything from your childs level and anything u see dangerous is there for baby to get at.AND cover sharp edges had a bid fright when ds fell and cut just above his eye!!!hope that helps

Hi all, Im living in ranches too and looking for some playgroups for my dd who is 20 months and sick of the sight of me.. I am trying to find a nursery school for her a few hours a week to get her used to being around other kids besides her siblings...Still getting used to this life in dubai yes the weather is beautiful but Im exhausted has it happened to anyone else.I dont have a maid so my whole day is running on school runs cleaning and trying to amuse the kids then getting used to hubby working longer hours and then when he is back the blackberry is beeping non stop argh....Just wud love to catch up with some adults for some conversation.Is there any meetups in AR for newbies here just for a chat or if there is any events on for someone to go with I have seen a few things coming up but with no babysitters it means going alone which i am tempted to do!!!!! sorry about the moaning i love it here really but u know sometimes just need to offload a bit lol

Hi am moving to AR next week in Alma I have three kids 7,5 and nineteen mums.Would love to get to know people and hopefully other kids for mine to play with.Is there lots of kids around AR and what do other mums do to pass the time while husband is working... I have seen there is a lot of shops there are they good for doing the weekly shopping etc?I also have to drive to Oud Metha road for the kids school Argh am dreading it does anyone know what the commute is like in the mornings!!!Sorry for all the Q's but just been here since sunday after arriving from Paris so have been stuck ina hotel since then.Would appreciate any help Thanks
