I wonder at which age does it become inappropriate to take boys to ladies only things like swimming or popping into a salon for quick threading ( the ones that don't say; no children ) [b'>My three year old gets funny looks in ladies loos now[/b'> but I know for example ; wild wadi permits boys 8 and under in ladies sessions . Seriously? My oldest boy is five and we've yet to get a funny look a the ladies loos.

I bought some a few weeks ago in the Organic shop in the Greens. Can I ask what you ladies do with it! I was sure I was going to love it, but it's actually not very nice. Was hoping my LO would like it on toast but she won't eat it either! *Whispers* I eat it straight from the jar....which is why I very rarely buy it.

Your baby creates the issues that he/she will interfere with that - you didn't say you were working so assume you are at home? [b'>Use the maid for the stuff you don't want to do to allow you the time to spend with your baby![/b'> Good luck! This is what I love most about having a maid. Our maid is away at the moment and I have much less time to just concentrate on my children.

I wouldn't blindly trust any doctor. A doctor I saw advised me not to take flagyl if there was any chance I was pregnant. Although I wasn't trying to conceive at the time I waited until I had my period. The active ingredient in flagyl crosses the placenta and effects are unknown.

If there was a miracle solution for teething it would have made someone a gazillionaire! There are various things you can do to help, what is best is different for each child so it's just trial and error really. Nothing will work completely though, it's just one of those things that isn't nice but you have to get through and remember it doesn't last for ever. I think what has helped the most for all of my children has been rubbing their sore little gums with my finger. Weleda teething powder helped one of them but not the next one, not sure if you can get it here though. None of them liked sucking/chewing on frozen fruit although a few friends say it helped. Plenty of cuddles also helps, good luck.

Hi imolinar Why do you think most people would advise against travelling? Holidays with young children can be a challenge but can be just as enjoyable as without children, you might just need to change your mindset about what you expect from your holiday. For instance, don't expect to do any relaxing so any time you do get to relax is a bonus. We had a fantastic holiday in the Seychelles a few years ago with an 18 month old a 3 year old. We spent the entire time building sandcastles, swimming in the sea and exploring the beach. We also had a great holiday last summer to Phuket with our children who were 2, 4 and 6. Again, lots of time exploring the beach, swimming in the pool and going for a few nice walks. Strange places can be overwhelming for them so take a favourite soft toy or blanket and some books. Some people do it differently but I find if we take it at the right pace for the children then they are happy so we are happy.

Getting distracted is so much worse when they are breastfed! They are happily feeding away then suddenly, yikes, they pull off with no warning giving whoever you are talking to an eyeful. Mmmmmm, you also might find that your baby starts taking exception to you speaking to someone else when they are feeding. Shortly after they started getting distracted mine also started to stop feeding and fixing me with a beady little cross eye if I had a conversation over their head.

I have a maid. She does all the household cleaning, washing and ironing plus occasional evening babysitting. No cooking. She works 6 days a week 7.30am - approx 7pm with a two hour break - she has a late start on Saturday. One month vacation a year with return flights or money in lieu. All private sector holidays off as well as Christmas. 2500 dirhams per month plus one month salary bonus at the end of each year. She has been with us over four years, her starting salary was 1600. If I needed a nanny I'd get someone qualified and pay a lot more.

Same at The Ranches shopping center! Although I'm using my new car now which never gets numbers and I can't be bothered transferring all four car seats back in my old car to take it out....I might have to get my husband to drive it to the shopping center tonight and park it up if no one on here has any numbers.

I've always done bath, reading in my bed, then put them to bed. Either before or during their good night feed depending on when they expect to feed. Currently I'm feeding my baby while reading stories to all of them. ETA, reading isn't limited to the end of the day, they love stories all day and always before a nap. edited by Daza on 01/04/2013

I've got it too srdoucet! It's all on my left side for me which is the side I most often use to carry my baby. I've got pins and needles and pain in my shoulder and numbness, tingling and stiffness in my hand, especially my thumb. I remember having it after my third baby as well, it went away when I wasn't spending quite so much time breastfeeding and carrying him around.

I agree with TDB, if you are planning on being here for a while and can afford it, buying makes the most sense. Rental companies aren't doing it for charity, they rent them out at a premium in order to make money.

After bashing them earlier in the week because of the late night noise, [b'>I'm feeling all concillatory on a Thursday afternoon[/b'>. They do seem to have some impressive acts. All the details are on their facebook page. FFx Good for you, nothing like a Thursday afternoon to make the world a cheerier place!

It's not recommended when either pregnant or breastfeeding. I know it's hard having to give up some things when pregnant but frizzy hair is probably easier to deal with than pregnancy complications.

Original UGG in Dubai Mall at the new shoes level. Why do yuo want to buy them ? [b'>They are already out of fashion in Europe[/b'>.... So? Dubai is full of clones as it is, if everyone stuck to wearing strictly what is in fashion, it would be even worse.

Same here, can't stand bras when I'm pregnant or breastfeeding. Like kiwispiers I wore vest tops with built in support. There are loads of different ones and Marks and Spencers. Many styles have the added bonus of extra thickness or padding in the bust area so you can sometimes get away with not wearing breast pads. They are supportive enough for me but I've got small boobs, not sure if they would be enough if bigger up top.

For people on visit visas, RTA say they can drive private vehicles if they have an International Driving License. Our insurance company (RSA) say that if RTA say they can drive, then they are covered under our policy(over 25years). When we asked the RTA about driving a private vehicle on an international license they said no! Rental vehicle fine, private not. Clear as mud as usual.
