I have done that for my kid.Marriage cert and NOC from husband was all they asked for . Also copy of my labour contract to check if the salary requirements are met, i think its now min 10,000 AED for women to sponsor kids . You can call DNRD helpline- 800-5111 toll-free in the UAE, to check and they are quite helpful.

Mine also refused all types of formula feeds. i tried everything and nothing worked. she also makes her lips tight even during sleep if i tried to feed her formula while sleeping. If you are BFing then you dont have to worry that much. Just know that the weight gain for your baby will be slow compared to babies taking formula. Mine is just making the minimum weight for her age . you can try feeding your baby with mashed fruits and veggies to make up for this. Sorry that this is not a solution to your problem , but just letting you know that you and your baby have got company.

Our agent is also asking for 5oo dhs as administration charges to renew the contract and another 4500 aed as maintenance charges for renewing the property lease. I decided to move since they are so unreasonable and now got to know that they will charge aed 50 for each hole that we drilled to put curtains, hang wallclock , paintings etc...is someone else being charged for each hole like this ? Also they charge again for property maintenance when we move and this will mean that we can say goodbye to our security deposit

thanx dramaqn for replying. no facilities is a turn off ....Is it true that these 3 BHK sell out very fast? my friend is moving to Dubai only after 2 weeks. If its moving fast then i may have to ask her to fly in early to take a look since it fits her budget well.

Sorry to hijack your thread Cotki. For those who have taken an insurance cover - How do you ensure the final payout at the end of the long period is still good enough to support you in future? Imagine that they promise USD 100,000 after 25 years , with the current exchange rate of AED 3.67 , it will come to USD 367,000.But what if the exchange rates fluctuate and in future the rate is not favourable when compared to home currency. Then we will end up with lesser amount than we expect.I have asked this question to a couple of Insurance brokers and no one is suppotive. Do you take an extra cover to protect yourself from currency fluctuations? Has any of the brokers assisted you with this? TIA

Mrs Laughan... how do you replace eggs in the bread recipes? Do you have a recipe for bread that is gluten, egg and dairy free? Also anyone tried baking G/F bread in the electric oven rather than the bread machine?

Its a type of Cucumber from the South of India. You can use it just the way you would use salad cucumbers. But you have to peel and discard the seeds in the middle since they are bigger and hard to chew unlike the green smaller variety of cucumbers Cut in to small pieces , cook and mix with yoghurt for an easy dish Or you can venture in to the complicated dishes that MoT has mentioned below. "Happy vellerying"

In Indian Embassy , there is a specific form which states that you are the sole provider for your parents and that they are dependednt on you . This is filled up , attested and submitted along with visa application to DNRD.You can check if your embassy has similar forms.

Its the same.Cider is made from apple. You can get Apple Cider Vinegar by American Gardens at C4, Lulu, Spinneys etc. But if you need the Organic Cider Vinegar with mother for medicinal purposes , then I have got them only from Big Spinneys Supermarkets. Organic Cafe in Dubai Mall may also have it.

What is the purpose for which you need this? If its local application for pain relief ,then shops selling ayurveda products stock this item. Its called Karpoora Thailam in Ayurveda shops and costs between 15-20 AED at the most for 100-150 ml. You have a couple of these shops in Karama.

I cant confirm if they supply specific food for babies, but the kids section of the hospital is really good and staff is very caring towards babies. The kids section is recently renovated and looks nice. You will get milk , yoghurt, breakfast cereals , omlet, bread, croissants etc as part of the normal menu for kids.HTH

10-15 mins at 250 C should be enough .Turn the patty in between to ensure that both sides brown equally.

Cook 250 gm bonelss chicken pieces and mince the meat (If with bone, then strip the meat off the bones and mince). Saute 3-4 onions till transluscent and add 1-2 medium mashed potatoes.Mix the chicken mince to this , add white pepper powder and salt to your taste , mix everything together and cook in low heat for some time . Once mix is cool, shape in to burger patty .Keep all pupose flour, beaten egg and bread crumbs in 3 bowls side by side. Now coat all the patty with flour , beaten egg and bread crumbs in this order. If you want to freeze then you can coat all the burgers in flour , egg and bread crumbs and freeze straightaway. For cooking the patty - Defrost , Add a little oil to a non stick and cook both sides till done .You can also bake the patty if you prefer .This is the basic version that i make for my kid , but it comes out well and everyone at home likes it. Take a burger bun , coat the halves with a lil mayonnaise and keep freshly cut lettuce, tomato and whatever veggies/ pickles u prefer and also the patty and enjoy.
